OG-LOC R360
Linky Another linky They were used as presentations of the FPV range. They should've dissapeared in the rubbish. It looks like it has the frount end of the new Mondeno, the roof and doors of the VE Commodore, and the rear headlights of an Audi. They are similar to the real car, which this is CG. This site won't allow the pictures. Edited July 14, 2007 by OG-LOC R360

Picolini
See, if Ford sold cars that looked like that here, they wouldn't be going in the sh*tter. @SIP, thank you for finally changing your AV! For some reason, the rear headlights reminds me of a NY cab. And don't forget the new Jag XK convertible. Seems like your trying to spark sh*t for nothing. On another note, the car itself is actually quite nice. I still think the front of it has the Mondeo Sport look, the 2.5 V6 models. As someone said, shame that car isn't over here. Instead, we have Fiesta's, Mondeo's, Galaxy's, they are a few to name. They look totally sh*t to the Ford in the link, I have to say. And yet Holden brought out Monaro's and Commodore's overseas, so did Toyota cars to the Middle East. They say that this car is the make or break model to Ford in Oz. If they don't export it, then they're screwed. They're the performance models, and are usually cheap here in Oz. Ford Oz doesn't bring out cars to Ireland and US, but does to mainly New Zealand. This the same model for the previous gen, not current, but hasn't changed much in 5 years since it's released. The territory is SUV based on the above car. This is the Turbo version. It is also exported to South Africa. Oh and this is the car th BA was based on in the first place. If you don't like the looks of this, you won't like the back. I had to bring this out. Cran.
This is going to be a very big car for Ford. They had completely the wrong attitude with the Falcon. When the time came around for the BF update, they said "If it ain't broken, don't fix it". The result is that they've had essentially the same product since 2002, well, atleast in the customers eyes, I believe. The BF MkII facelift was a case of too little, too late in my opinion. Same case with the old Magna. The facelift looked nice, but it was a facelift that should have happened years ago. I guess Ford spend a whole lot of money on the inital BA upgrade anyway. The AU was a ugly, ugly.. ugly.. car. It was all curvy, but not in a good way. It just looked bloated, and like it was trying way too hard. It was both ugly and bland, a very hard trick to pull off. The interior was just.. oh god.. I still have nightmares about those plastics. They really shot themselves in the foot with that car! sh*ts all over the look of the new VE in my opinion. Commodores just seem to look all too like the same model after model in my eyes. I don't blame you, although I love the looks of the VE. I think Holden slowly evolved the previous generation Commodore (VY and VZ) towards the style of the VE to get people used to looks. Look what happened when Ford took a big leap and went to the AU! @OG-LOC R360 Because of the Crown Vic, it made no sense to use the Falcon. The Crown Vic is much cheaper, and because of Taxi and Polices fleets, they've got more than enough customers. Although, I believe the Falcon, and for that matter, Ford Australia will play big parts in Ford's future. Probably much like the way the Commodore is, and the Global Zeta RWD platform is for GM. eivissa
did you turn ford into an acronym in the topic title because it stands for "found on road dead"?

Its just a matter of how much media coverage it gets, but im sure Ford are cringing at the thought of losing you as a most valuable 15 year old customer
tristan
Mate if you don't know the difference between a V6 cylinder engine compared to a Inline 6 engine, I think you shouldn't be posting in the car section.
BIG_SAMZ_EF
it is sad that ford australia will discontinue its production of the inline 6, but if ford wants to be around in 5 to 10yrs time they dont have much choice but to switch to the V6, who knows the change might be the best move that ford aust. make. here is an article that puts things in perspective. link
