tuareg
Okay, im so f*cking pissed right now, i could honestly kill. Just started browsing in my pictures folder, when all the sudden, i see my pics (wich where carefuly sorted) all messed up. All the pictures that are in one place are now found either here or over there. Its a huge disorder. And the funny thing is that i have about 300-400 pics. What really is funny is that this happens every now and then. What can i do? Should i go sort out all 300 pics (again), or is there some way to turn this back and preferably avoid it from happening again? It happens every time the pictures folder loads slowly i think. Mitza_003
No that's not a good thing. Maybe you have a virus or a trojan that's messing around with you files. I sugest a complete system scan for viruses, it's best to know you are not infected. I really can't figure out what would mess your files that way, rather than a stupid virus. Use a good antivirus program such as kasperky or nod32. Your system takes some time to load the files, because they were moved from place to place, folder to folder, and you registry is all messed up. If you find a solution for the unwanted movement of files, then you registry won't be so messed. So clean the system from viruses, move you files in the right folders and then do a registry defrag. That's kinda' all that there's to it. Good luck.
Fozzy Fozborne
Are the files in different folders than when they started, or are they still in the correct folder? If the pictures are in just one huge folder, then it's probably the simple problem that you have the view setting wrong. Try right-clicking in an unoccupied space in the folder (white area where there is no file) and go to arrange icons by, then click name. If that's not what you want, try the other options in arrange icons by folder. If the folder they should be in is wrong, then it could be a virus or worm like Mitza said.
