john winston lennon
Hello people, well, this is my problem: I fotmatted partition C: of the hard drive, but copyed the folder "gta san andreas user files" where I had all the save games to partition D, and now I try replacing that folder for this one: "D:\San Andreas\GTA San Andreas\data\GTA San Andreas User Files" but when I try to load a saved game they don't appear. Which is the folder or the place where i should put the folder "gta san andreas user files" ?? I mean, where does the game search to see if there are any saves, or which is the default save folder... thanks!
Justin
I'm not sure how this got so complicated (unless there's some sort of whack OS involved) since it's a relatively simple process of identifying where the saves were kept on hard drive one, and reproducing them in the equivalent location on hard drive two. My Documents\GTA San Andreas User Files\. Saves generally belong there, not in the install directory of the game.

The 'My Documents' folder is created based on the user. Each user profile is provided with a seperate 'My Documents' folder. Since user profiles and settings are located in C drive, the 'My Documents' folder has to be in the same drive as that of the operating system.
