pna1pi3
Hi i have a situation. I've been playin SA on my laptop and i wanna transfer my saved game file to my computer for easier playing and plus my laptop heats up real fast and gets real hot lol. This may be a dumb question but i tried copying the entire game file from my laptop to my pc and it doesn't work. Can someone help me figure this out? thanx a lot =)
Justin
My Documents\GTA San Andreas User Files\ Copy that folder over, taking care to then delete the file with the SET extension. Also note that copying the install directory over wasn't real smart as it may lead to installation/uninstallation problems.
Ring_of_Fire
Via Home PC to PC networking, or USB. If your save file refuses to work once opened in San Andreas: right-click file -> Properties -> uncheck "Read-only" -> click on "Unblock". This may be a dumb question but i tried copying the entire game file from my laptop to my pc and it doesn't work. That's not a dumb question, it's a dumb idea! Anyway, follow Fuzzy Juzzy's advice about deleting the [.set] file once finished copying the entire "User Files" folder over. Oh, and remember to not copy a wrong version save (shouldn't matter since you copied over the entire game).
