You would need HJSPLIT to join the two files together.

It has everything the 470mb one has...the 119 mb one has some new features like dual desert eagles (done by me) and new 3 new cars. It needs SAMI (San Andreas Mod Installer) to be installed [included in the package]

Shehroz's GT mod v1.0 (Build 002) Readme

for GTA San Andreas

1. INSTALLATION

You need to install San Andreas Mod Installer (SAMI) [included in this package] to install this edition of GT mod.

i. After installing SAMI execute "Step 1" (if prompted with ".NET framework required" click "NO and then 'OK'.

ii.Enter the path to your GTA San Andreas directory and then hit "Continue" and then "Install"

iii.After that is done execute "Step 2" and repeat the above steps.

iv. Load up San Andreas and play.

3. KNOWN ISSUES

i. If lights, exhausts and hoods are installed on some cars (eg. Skyline) the game will crash.

ii. Sometimes the game displays an error message on exiting that "gta_sa.exe is not responding". Just press enter after you exit the game (if you see a blank screen).

Hopefully both of these problems will be fixed in the next version of the mod.

hold your horses people...i have permission from all the mods except 4-6 of them..and that is because I didnt get any replies when I emailed them..and im sure they wont mind because I added their names in the readme....and if one of those authors comes up and complains...ill take my mod off the web.

Firstly i thought id like to point out that i dont agree with enforcing copyright law but as this isnt my forum and i quite value my membership i generally try to refrain from posting content ripped from other games...

 

So the cars you have permission for......im sure you know 90% of them are straight from Need for Speed, mostly Most Wanted, and that DOES NOT go down well here.......some things you can rip and the developers and publishers will turn a blind eye but thats EA mate.......they would sue you for walking on thir lawn.....

 

I dont know why a moderator hasn been here already to enforce this but i wuld get rid of this VERY quickly if i were you...

If it doesn't work after rebooting, try reinstalling the mod on a fresh GTA SA install.

If that doesn't help ... well ... I'm out of ideas really.

so uh.. so, so let me get this straight.. you took a bunch of cars.. and said its youre mod? "i drew lines to aviod theft" what you did is allready theft.. you need permission from EACH AND EVERY creator of EACH AND EVERY vehicle you added to the mod.. if you think that you can simply combine a bunch of vehicles ad say its yourse; well, youre a dumb twat.

Given that quite a number of the models are from EA means that there really is no way we can allow this here and why leaving this topic open serves no purpose.

[2.0] Releasing Mods by Other Authors

Some members have released vehicles made by friends or people they know. However, this is not a wise idea as it can result in all kinds of problems. If a member would like his car to be released then let him sign up and post himself. An inability to write good english isn't really an excuse. It avoids any controversy regarding mod theft, even if you clearly state that the mod is legitimate in your topic. If you must do this, we ask for these releases to be posted in the Picture Post & Commentary topic to avoid any unnecessary situations.

 

[2.1] Exceptions:

Modding tools. We are always happy to host information regarding new tools/programs by other people; in aid of GTA modding or to advance it. If you do create a thread about such a tool then please state clearly who the author of the tool is and possibly provide any information to contact them. Major breakthroughs in GTA Modding are also an exception, though we request you use the Search feature first, as your idea may not be as much of a breakthrough as you think. However we still maintain that if possible, original authors post the topic themselves.

 

 

[3.0] Mod Theft

Mod theft is taken very seriously and many people have been permanently banned from GTAForums for such actions. These forums are home to some of the best and most experienced GTA modders around, many will have seen almost every GTA mod currently released, even for games as far back as GTA1. You will NOT get away with it, and you WILL be banned for it. This is a serious issue and will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Mods are released for free by their authors, the authors decide who uses their material. Even if you consider it to be unimportant 'as this is all for a game anyway', nobody cares. This is NOT for you to decide, but only the original authors.

 

This rule includes:

 

    * [3.1] Using parts created by other authors without permission.

    * [3.2] Converting cars without permission. (see below)

 

[4.0] Conversions

Conversions should be seen as a last resort. If for some reason the original author is unable to convert the model, or is unwilling due to lack of time/personal life, then the model may be converted under and ONLY under the following condition;

 

The original author of the model MUST, THEMSELVES, publicly state by posting here at gtaf in the topic where the vehicle is being converted, that he/she allows it. This is not open for debate / discussion, this is final.

 

If the original author is unavailable, or can't be contacted, the conversion may not be released.

 

    * [4.1] Tuning/Ricing - Such vehicles require the same level of verification as a conversion. It can only be done if the original model author posts in the topic where the tuning is being done, that it is approved.

    * [4.2] Original GTA cars - Converting these between games is allowed. It's a common practice, everyone who has gta installed has access to these vehicles, and getting R*'s permission simply won't happen. No point in trying to stop access to something you already have. However, this rule could possibly be changed should it inhibit the showroom's ability to produce as many scratch works as possible.

    * [4.3] Models from websites - As long as it's under a GPL-type license, then it's allowed. Being under that licence, you must also redistribute the licence with the vehicle (if applicable), in addition to the other car files. If no license is provided with the model, include a link to where it was originally obtained.

    * [4.4] Models that require permission from a corporate entity, like EA Games, aren't allowed for conversions period (with the R* exception listed above).

 

Failure to meet the above criteria will result in, at minimum, a locked topic and verbal warning.

 

ANYONE caught posing as an original author will be instantly and permanently banned, no exceptions.
