Ring_of_Fire
We don't support broken/damaged discs. This forum was meant for troubleshooting an already installed copy of San Andreas.
Demarest
You spelled lots of words wrong. As you read in the 18 month old thread that you bumped, a CRC always means a disc read error. Which is almost always a bad disc, but can also be a bad reader.

Ring_of_Fire
The only good troubleshooting advice I can offer is to download CDCheck and test the disc for errors or bad sectors.
Suction Testicle Man
You could also try using your CD to install San Andreas on another computer, and see if it installs it successfully. If it doesn't, you know you need a new CD, and not a new CD drive on the original computer. If at first you don't succeed, you fail, and the test will be terminated.
