well i use to have ltos of mods on gta san andreas so i uninstalled the game then installed wen a quartier of it almsot was done a error came out that said feature grand theft auto san andreas game data component: models file: e:idata3.cab error data error cyclic redundnyix i mite of spelled the last word wrong but thats wat happpned please help confused.gificon13.gif

We don't support broken/damaged discs. This forum was meant for troubleshooting an already installed copy of San Andreas.

The only good troubleshooting advice I can offer is to download CDCheck and test the disc for errors or bad sectors.

You could also try using your CD to install San Andreas on another computer, and see if it installs it successfully. If it doesn't, you know you need a new CD, and not a new CD drive on the original computer. smile.gif

If at first you don't succeed, you fail, and the test will be terminated.
