It's probally the green finish that makes people doubt the Lamborghini idea. You've just converted me I was one of the people who thought that was a Ford GT but now that u've got a screenshot from the video, it looks just like the murcielago @ Peter_G actually this time around it seems Rockstar is making cars that draw inspiration completely from one car or most inspiration. some of these are starting to look like almost exact replicas--they just do enough not to violate licensing. and if anyone cares, I now revoke my thought that the gray car next to the Aston Martin is a Corvette; I've done a little bit of picture research and the front bumper is just like the NSX Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Oldsmobile Posted February 27, 2008 Share Posted February 27, 2008 I don't have a screenshot of it, but I was reading the GTA article at GamePlanet, and they mentioned that the Intruder (from San Andreas) will be making a return. They said that it is going to be manufactured by Karin, the same company that is behind the Dilettante that was featured on the official website. I hate to quote myself like this(makes me look like an egotistical jackass), but I think I found an image of the Karin Intruder after all! It's in the Phil Bell video. I don't know how to get a screen-grab of it (I'm terrible at that sort of thing.), but it is the black car that Niko is seen driving just after the scene involving the baseball bat and the shipping container. The GamePlanet preview stated that the car looked like a Mercedes Benz, and that it was given to Niko by Phil Bell. The car in the video fits both criteria. Also, a Karin badge is featured on the grille. Just though I'd share that for anybody who was wondering. EDIT: And I managed to post this right under a picture of my namesake! Classy! Also does anyone know why the cars arnt reflective anymore? Its kind of a pity because this car looks sooooooooo nice reflective... anyone confirm that they have taken out reflections on cars? Altho, the Dil's price tag is evocative of a Citroen, you can't get a Citroen here in the states unless you special order it. It isn't a car that is imported to the U.S. is what I mean. I was so excited about 6 months ago when I saw a screenshot of Niko on the Yamaha-looking motorcycle. I thought that the motorcycle actually said "Yamaha," so I ridiculously came to the conclusion that R* bought the title rights to actual vehicles and put them into the game....
