It is based off of a 2008 Honda Civic, and so is the back. This is one of the most successful integrations of different car designs I have seen so far... I don't think you can tell that for certain. All pictures of the minivan were from the back or side so you cannot judge so easily unless you have a screenshot of it from the front. Ok, you may be eventually right. As for the picture of the cars in a row at the showroom in the Dilettante advert i would say were : Dilettante (Brown) Comet (Red Porsche 911 lookalike) Infernus (Grey NSX Lookalike) ?? The red car is the comet, or prosche, in this case it is modeled after a carerra 4 or a 911 gt3 or just a 989...lol i can't decide which one. I noticed that when I was watching it recently too i was weak. I absolutely love the car models in this game now that the phil bell and Dilettante trailers came out they are so detailed. they may lack constant reflections in the day time (night time shots of cars in screenshots seem to show reflections better) although i still saw the dealership sign reflected on every car at the end of the dilettante trailer. They easily look almost as detailed--on the outside--as forza motorsport 2 without constant real-time reflections although the cars are probably only like 10-30,000 polygons each. Good job rockstar. Why do the car models in the phil bell and dilettante trailers seem to look a lot better than the ones in the first 5 videos on the website? especially the manny one? It was always a nice sight to see Stallions in all the GTA's, as well as newer versions of Cheetahs and Infernus's. I want to see a modern version of the stallion i.e. of course a 2008 mustang or something. Its just a lil unrealistic to see a 64-69 (can't tell which one they model) mustang driving around in 2001 (gta 3) and gta iv without seeing a modern iteration especially since the new ones are quite praised Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

stingray. Posted February 23, 2008 Share Posted February 23, 2008 So, we've just heard about a new car, called Contender. I'm beginning to think that the car in this picture is the Contender. The car in the picture borrows styling cues from both, the Dodge Challenger and Charger. Both of the words, Challenger and Contender, have a similar meaning, so based on that I reckon that the car pictured above is indeed the Contender. If not, I can bet my money that a car very similar to the Challenger will be called the Contender.
