Robocop is so mine tomorrow, and most likely with Children of Men and a bunch of stuff from the $5 bin.

Dude: I didn't see a real point with the 16 year DVD. Now reall added features to speak of, and the case would have fit weird in my shelf.

Yeah that's why I didn't buy it, no real new features, same reason I didn't get the Platinum Edition Scarface DVD either.

I'm still watching the special features, I have been since about 12 AM, it's 1:48 now. And I'm not even close to finishing them. The Featurette's are just fantastic, including the interviews from tons of people who worked on the production, and they all supply some real good info. Honestly, I haven't seen special features this good since my Fear & Loathing Criterion DVD purchase in 2005. I might even make a full DVD review. You definitely gotta get this DVD ASAP. It's just awesome. happy.gif

The boardroom ED-209 scene in the Unrated cut of Robocop made me happy on the inside.

Haha I watched the normal cut last night(because it took me like almost 3 hours to watch all the special features), but I'm definitely looking forward to seeing the Extended Cut tonight.

Speaking of Schwarzenneger and Verhoeven, I wanna get Total Recall as well. Running Man also kicked ass, how are the features?

That scene is win.

I'll most likely be picking that up Friday with Taxi Driver and a couple other things too. What kind of special features does it have?

I just got Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film For Theatres.

Good DVD.

To anyone that got it, did you like the deleted movie? It would have been better if the animation was finished. That got annoying after a bit. Definitly not as good or as funny as the finished film.

Crimson King

I spent heaps of cash on DVD's the other day, and I watched them all in like one weekend.

I bought the Band of Brothers box set for $40, which is a bargain at double the price cause Band of Brothers is just that good.

I also got Apocalypse Now, The Doors movie and Grandma's Boy for 9.95 each.

Actually, Apocalypse Now might've been 12.95. But it's worth every penny.

Speaking of Robocop, I edited my weapons data file in VC, and used a Halo 2 Sniper Rifle model, and now I have something that looks like the Cobra Assault Cannon("State of the art bang bang"). It even destroys/explodes vehicles with one shot! BTW, I just saw the Extended Cut tonight, I would have thought there would be a bunch of added stuff. Other than that it was pretty damn awesome, especially the ED-209 demonstration scene.

Big Fish and Hook I found brand new at Safeway, and got for a combined $10. The rest were an order from Deep Discount. Big Fish was so good too, best Burton flick by far, had me chocked up at the end.

Universal Pictures have announced the UK Region 2 DVD release of Creepshow on 22nd October 2007. Created by two of horror’s most prolific maestros director George A Romero (Night Of The Living Dead) and writer Stephen King (The Shining) Creepshow is an anthology of twisted tales inspired by the E.C. comics of the 1950s and 1960s.

A concerned father throws away his child’s comic book and the ghoulish stories come to life with tales of zombie fathers, green space fungus, caged ancient creatures, the living dead and the skin-crawling man versus bug story featuring millions of cockroaches.

Creepshow Bonus Features:

Chapter One: An “E.C.” Way To Start

From the origins of the classic “E.C.” comics to the creation of the film’s screenplay, this chapter delves in the historic meeting of George Romero and Stephen King and how Creepshow came to be.

Chapter Two: A Comic Book World

A look into the production, design, cinematography, and on-set challenges in creating the comic-ally dynamic visuals of the film.

Chapter Three: Acting Scared

Candid interviews with many of the actors, including Adrienne Barbeau and Ed Harris, and how they created their outrageous characters.

Chapter Four: Creature Features

An in-depth look at the ghoulish creations of special make-up effects and creature creator Tom Savini.

Chapter Five: Creepy Crawlies

The cast & crew sound off on the difficulties of wrangling over 10,000 cockroaches in the film’s final segment.

Chapter Six: Anthology Unleashed

Follow the film through post-production, including the creation of the memorable score, and see how it became a theatrical and critical success

Chapter Seven: 25 Years Later…

The cast and crew look back on the film’s enduring popularity and their memories of making it.
