flicko
Just bought No country for Old men, Knocked up and 3:10 to Yuma for £20 from HMV. I've heard about all the hype about No country for old men, and a little about 3:10 to Yuma, but not Knocked up. Will watch them all later and see what I think. Groovy
After getting out from Bangkok Dangerous(unintentional comedy of the year btw), went to FYE and Bought the 2 disc special edition of The Abyss, Alligator, and the Criterion Collection of fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. It's good to finally replace my beat up vhs copy of the Abyss and my bare bones Fear and Loathing DVD. And I picked up Alligator because it 's Robert Forster fighting a damn Alligator, 'nuff said. I have a friend who has the DVD, and I've borrowed it a few times, and yes, the features are quite good.

Andyzoot
Picked up Arrested Development: Series 2 yesterday. I can't believe this show didn't get the viewers it deserved and was sickened that BBC gave it a sh*tty time slot...don't think they deserve our License Fee. TenaciousD.
Got 'The Coen Brothers Collection' in HMV today, got Fargo, Millers Crossing and Raising Arizona in it, I figured I should probably get something by them because as far as I am aware I have never seen a Coen Brothers film and everyone seems to love them... tj11
I finally picked up a copy of 'Black Sheep' just last week. I usually wait for DVDs and BDs to get "marked down", I'm not made of money. I wasn't going to buy anything else, but saw 'The Omen:Pentology' for only $25...couldn't resist.
Creed Bratton
I saw "Collateral" yesterday in a local DVD store and I had to buy it. There are very few Tom Cruise flicks I like and this one is the best in my opinion. Jamie Fox is good too. I love this movie, it's really different then all the other Tom Cruise movies. And it's really exciting. The end is phenomenal too

Andyzoot
My recent DVD purchases include the whole of Arrested Development which has no jumped into my favourite TV shows of all time. It's a crime that this show was cancelled. It was really given a chance in Britain as it was put on at about 11:45 on Friday nights Also picked up the Raging Bull Definitive Edition which I've been meaning to get since forever. Got round to picking up Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas which is weird...but funny!
Groovy
Very spur of the moment tonight I ordered the OOP Anchor Bay version of Maximum over Drive and The Guardian(No, not the coast guard movie, the one with the baby killing tree women that was directed by the man who did The Exorcist) I loved The Guardian when i was little, so I'm not that phased by shelling out $60 for the DVD. And I'll have to add Neon Maniacs to this too, just put in the order. Edited October 18, 2008 by Groovy
