It is in some bits but most of it seems more like a live action cartoon, to me at least.

@Trows: Wise choice sir, wise choice.

Clerks II is total awesome. Picked that up awhile back at Blockbuster, gotta love 4 movies for $20. Got that, Johnny Dangerously, Lets Go To Prison and Lucky # Slevin. Hell, then went to wall mart and bought Reno 911! Mialmi, The Goonies, and Independence day

TenaciousD.

Good film, not QT's best but still worth watching.

Superb film, accurate depiction of the conditions, great cast and a wonderful script

Band Of Brothers.

Band of brothers is f*cking awesome.

Band of Brothers? Man, that has to be the best mini-series ever, if not the best TV series entirely. Speirs, Winters, Malarkey, Guarnere, Sobel. Such characters. Plus its a true story.

That may have been my last purchase as well surprisingly. I had it for ages on video but I felt it was time to update to the ol' DVD.

Great pick-up of 'American History X' there Pand. Put your motherf*cking teeth on the curb!

Freezer - A fan of exploitation, violence, and pushing the boundaries (all which the Asians seem to do quite a lot), so it seemed to be a film for me.

Freezer is a disturbing thriller from director Takashi Ishii (Gonin, Black Angel) about Chirhiro, a woman trying to escape the memories of being raped by three men while they filmed the incident. She leaves her hometown to start a new life and five years later is a professional working in Tokyo, engaged to one of her colleagues, Yusuke. Without warning, one of the rapists appears, and threatens to turn her life into a living hell with news that the other two are on their way with the videotape of the rape, and discloses the evidence to her fiance. Mad with fury and pushed to the limits of despair, Chirhiro resorts to extreme acts of revenge, intent on destroying these ghosts from her past forever. In her apartment with Yusuke, just as it looks like she is rekindling her relationship, the electricity suddenly shortcuts - and a troubled and uncertain future meets her again as she faces the aftermath of her desperate, disturbing tactics...

Phone - Picked it up in a deal with Freezer, sounds decent, but haven't watched it yet.

Investigative reporter Ji-won has changed her phone number but keeps getting mysterious calls on her mobile. Making investigations, she discovers that all previous owners of the phone died in mysterious circumstances. This is Korean horror at its most twisted. Be sure you don't dial the wrong number!

American Psycho - Why I didn't own this film already, I DON'T KNOW!

Christian Bale is utterly sublime as Patrick Bateman, the Wall Street broker with homicidal delusions. The film received some criticism for its presentation of women, but it's clear that this is an allegorical take on the consumerism of the 1980s rather than a misogynistic outing. A superb film with horror, humour, a great dose of satire and a soundtrack to die for, "American Psycho" is essential viewing.

Heat - Same with AP, can't believe I didn't purchase Heat, one my favourite action-thrillers, a long time ago.

When Al Pacino and Robert De Niro square off, Heat sizzles. Written and directed by Michael Mann, Heat includes dazzling set pieces and a bank heist that USA Today's Mike Clark calls 'the greatest action scene of recent times' (Newsweek). It also offers perhaps the most impressive line-up of actors ever. Val Kilmer, Jon Voight, Tom Sizemore and Ashley Judd are among the memorable supporting players in this tale of brilliant L.A. cop following the trail of a deadly armed robbery to a crew headed by an equally brilliant master thief.

DEATH BECOMES HER!

Thank you! There's been a movie thats been sitting in the back of my mind that I know I have to go replace a VHS of, and thats it. I can now rest easy.

Anywho, my recent purchases:

Robot Chicken - Season One

Venture Bros. - Season Two

Pirates of the Caribbean 2 - Collector's Edition

Trigun Box Set

No Doubt - Live in the Tragic Kingdom

Donnie Darko - Director's Cut

The Neverending Story 1 and 2
