GTA3Freak-2001 Posted November 19, 2007 Share Posted November 19, 2007 I just saw a trailer for this and had no idea what it was since the title wasn't shown but all I caught was the J.J Abrams thing and I saw the topic only now. Looks really good, the whole blair witch camera style really works to make the whole event scarier then the way most disaster/giant monster rampage movies(I am looking at Godzilla here) are shot. Some seriously bad effects in that trailer. I think it looked better on youtube - to hide their limited budget. And what was with the leaning building? That was goofy. I won't lie, that sh*t looks pretty badass. It could definently wipe out New York. Such a great design. Notice the face and tale of a whale, and I read someone post that they thought the monster was a drastically enlarged whale, hmmm? Guess he was right.
