JoeyLeone25 Posted August 3, 2007 Share Posted August 3, 2007 'Overnight' being thrown around as the film title now, after somebody found out the same Legal Team (not much really), that trademarked (or what-ever those crazy fools do!) the 'Slusho' also trademarked 'Overnight'. The evidence is interesting, but circumstantial - it basically boils down to: the trademark attorney who trademarked Slusho! also trademarked Overnight, and they may have the same lawyer. The purpose of the trademark is certainly not clear. I don't deny that JJ Abrams may have trademarked Overnight, but for what purpose? It could be for a movie title, but IMDB shows three movies already with the title Overnight. Not much, but it does make sense, seeing as the events take place over-night as the leaving party is abruptly stopped by that crazy monster! However it doesn't have a 'raz-ma-taz-monster-title' to it, you know like 'Godzilla' or 'King Kong', they're monster films with monster titles! Anyway, just speculation at the moment. Also, i'm not sure if its just me but before the first 'roar' thing in the party you hear a womans voice say something, sounds like 'No more' to me, but i dunno. Bit late this, but I've only just heard about it and it looks pretty good from the trailer. But after watching the trailer, I'm pretty sure it's 'More Bloooood' the blood bit being quite elongated and dragged out in a spooky style way, and also sounds quite feminine to me. I mean withe Statue of Liberty and growly female voice a la Sigourney Weaver in 1, I'd love it, if it was another Ghostbusters. Any more info on this yet? PS as for it being a Lost tie-in, erm no, 1/18/08 is a Friday, and that's the graveyard slot for television Networks, and Lost ain't exactly in the grave. The thing is though, why go to so much effort to make a 'fake call-sheet'? And /Film are pretty much 99.5% it was real, hence the 'c&d' orders on the reproduction of said sheet. The good news coming out of this is that Paramount in some official capacity has confirmed the authenticity of the leaked Call-Sheet. Without you guys, we probably would have it off as fake or planted. Does this mean that scene #160 is in fact the real ending of the movie? Possibly, but I still think there must be more. This legal letter has also for the first time in writing confirmed “Cheese” is actually “Cloverfield”. But that’s nothing we didn’t already know. For some reason, it kinda reminds me of War of the Worlds - but better! But, who knows if it's about Aliens attacking Earth? That's what I think it's about. But, not too sure lol. I like these kinds of movies, like the "end-of-the-world" kinds of movies. And it's set in New York, too! It was so awesome when they showed the head of the Statue of Liberty get blown up.
