Don Garcia aka NjNakedSnake
Check these out. click and click again Gotta admit, those pictures look awesome. I'll never watch the sequel, but that 2nd pic looks pretty cool.
Andyzoot
As much as I would like Cloverfield to be a one off, I would love another dose of it. But like Pap said. If it was to involve hunting down the babies then I don't think I'm interested. Personally I would like to see a movie based on a small team of soldiers who are sent in to clear up after the Hammerdown. All the footage is filmed from the helmet of the leader of the team and it all seems quiet when suddenly they find that there is still something there.... Jonesizzle
Sorry guys those are no pictures of a sequel. They are pictures of a recover team discovering the monsters after they went and searched for the satellite you seen falling from the sky at the end of the movie. Andyzoot
Where did you obtain them from?
Jonesizzle
Where did you obtain them from? It was from a cloverfield fan site, I believe Cloverfieldfiles.com, or something related to that. The main source of the pictures is a website which you need to have a passcode and a user name to get into it. Like always somebody just hacked the site and end up getting two pictures of this and a transcript of what the man in the sub-marine and people above water are saying. Psych
The satellite that drops at the end has some weird food thing in it that makes the fish grow giant which explains the monster, they wake it up when the research team goes after the fallen satellite marketing thingy. That's what I've been reading anyway. At the end there is also a radio message that says backwards "It's still alive" so it could be either a sequel or prequel??? papanesta
and a transcript of what the man in the sub-marine and people above water are saying. Any chance of posting that?
Taste Of Chaos
A sequel would ruin it imo. Not so sure really. You never actually see if they kill the monster. I think it could be cool to see events from another angle. Like, the same night and events just from like, the other side of the city. They could be a professional TV crew or something capturing the event on tele. I liked the bit where they send in the B2 bomber, then it attacks the chopper. I liked it personally, definately an original approach to a film from what I've seen. Opportunity knocks once in a lifetime, temptation will lean on the doorbell. Breaking Bohan
I just watched this movie - it was not so great - wait - it was worse than Blair Witch - it is a straight rip-off of that film, except in NYC w/ Godzilla and the Army. It makes you dizzy to watch it - i almost threw up at home - thank the lord i wasn't in the theatre. Seriously - just rent Blair Witch - or Godzilla for that matter - and enjoy that, since this is second-rate all the way. How the hell can you have 22-pages of shat about this shat movie?! Yeah, you're sooo right, Cloverfield was a complete rip-off of Blair Witch. Just like Sin City was a complete rip-off of Shindler's List, except it didn't take place in Germany or involve the holocaust. I mean, it's basically the same damn movie except that Cloverfield is in New York City and involves a giant Godzilla creature, even though that was the object of the film and has nothing to do with Blair Witch! The only similarities between Blair Witch and Cloverfield were that they were both filmed in "shaky-cam". Their plotlines are entirely different and completely unrelated. As for the dizziness - I didn't have a problem with it, but to each his own.

And if you want to read half the topic you'll notice that most of it was during the build up to the film when there was very little to go on which made it a very interesting project.
