gamefarter Posted July 1, 2007 Share Posted July 1, 2007 (edited) At 40 seconds into the trailer, there is a guy who passes to the left of Niko (Niko's right) in the screen, it happens pretty fast because this is where we see the background changing as Niko is strutting along like a badass. Anyways, this person passing Niko seems to literally scroll by Niko; the peds motions seems too smooth for him to be walking. The camera is stationary, but compared to Niko's strut, and even other peds further off in the background, this ped seems to be moving along too smoothly to not be on some sort of wheels. I think we should be able to use anything to get away from someone, but they've taken out bikes (bicycles) haven't they? So maybe it's just a trick to arouse suspicion. I'd say he's skateboarding, I doubt it'll be roller blades because we've seen those used in VC where there was a more tropic setting. Skateboards suit the urban scene more. But what would be cooler? Please say that the no bikes thing is just a rumor! I mean, bike carriers are kind of a big deal in NYC and that would make for a great side mission (like pizza delivery in VC). swimfan3210 Posted July 1, 2007 Share Posted July 1, 2007 (edited) right when it goes into the scene where the possible skater is you see the skater take a step then kinda turn his head to Niko and stop, i think it just looks like that he is moving because the camera is moving with Niko. but if not then yeah, it looks like that step he took is him pushing off the ground to roll the board, nice find, weather true or not... If hes standing he should move up the screen evenly with the garbage can light post or the rails thingy at the side. But hes not so he has to be doing something.
