modding question

When you make a mod, for example a new skin for the car showroom in san fierro do you have a license ore something to make it, or you just make it and don't have a license?

And if you don't have any license do you get busted for that?

I did this question because i don't want to pay anything for making mods tounge.gif

Modding is legal, the problem is: when you use mods, Rockstar will not support you.

Yes, you can do pretty much anything you want. Of course, GTANet can't allow certain content to be supported here (hot coffee is a prime example).

Do know this though: Anything you make for Rockstar's game engines Belongs to Rockstar. Like... Gostown6 is actually property of Rockstar, as is Myriad Islands, any car you ever downloaded etc etc.
