so has that been 2 game sites reporting a pc release so far? that might be a good sign since i am guessing that some of those folks might be closer to the industry then any of us here.   the date

First off, I think I stated I am pretty PC proficient. Also, using your logic, just because you had a good experience does not mean everyone else did with Steam. The last time I installed Steam was about 3 or 4 months ago, to try Zombie Master. It crashed on install and after 2 subsequent boots. Now keep in mind this is on a XP install that was only a couple of days old. There is nothing wrong with my PC, and the fact the you think there would be the issue is pretty insulting. Like I said, just because it works for you, does not mean it will work for me.

 

As for a better one than Steam, Impulse is a far better system. Stardock is sitting on a gold mine, if they can just convince people to use it.

Yep all done and dusted, bit of an anti climax really lol. But it is all 100% legit. You have to laugh at all the nay sayers now. Oh GTA 4 can't be done on the PC, oh GTA 4 isn't coming to the PC etc etc blah blah blah. Well guess they were proved wrong.

 

Now on another note BUY the damn game people. Infact BUY two copies of the thing.

I hope everybody is seeing that this just magically happens to be 6 months (and a week or two) after the release of GTA IV on console.

The game looks and plays beautifully on PC and we can't wait for people to play it.

Where is the tool saying it would not be coming, if it does not until 09-10? Like many have been saying, where there is smoke there is fire, the initial rumours were true all along. Like all other GTa games, 6-8 months after the best version is released. Thoguht he knew someone who worked in finance, lol. Navie. Where are the naysayers now?
