Well, really, you have no one to blame but yourself, you should know better then to get your hopes up. it will come to PC, all signs point that way and R are not even denying it, why all the stress on here, there are much better games around then the GTA overrated machine.

Pirate the hellllllllll out of their sh*tty little worthless console games, but DO NOT pirate ANY PC games.

Now it's about this time when any normal GTA fan/news site should post some sort of news about the fact that nothing was announced regarding a PC version of GTA IV at Take-Two's press conference. ...........watch as none do though.

They can't really expect me to pay $50 for it. And I'm not gonna wait for the price to drop. It's not about the money, I can buy the game a million times over, but I don't want those bastards to have my money. It's not gonna hurt them, but I'll feel better.

There is no justifying piracy, the fact you are trying to justify it is sad. Piracy is bad, hurts the PC game industry. You think you are sticking it to rockstar, but in reality, you are only hurting yourself by hurting the platform of your choice. Rockstar could be one of the biggest devs around and not release a PC version, so think about your actiosn a little more.

you can buy a second-hand copy you know. that way you dont play on a pirated copy and at the same time, R* gets none of your money.

I just thought of something:

 

Rockstar/Take-Two knows that announcing a PC version of GTA IV at E3 would give it a fair bit of promotion, and probably help the sales numbers for the PC version. Since this is not what Rockstar/Take-Two want, they have chosen to forgo the announcement at E3.

 

Just think about it, imagine if the PC version was to actually get a lot of hype and sell considerably-well...Rockstar's poor little inflated ego would take a battering; as they live their life these days by the rule that PC gaming is dying, and take pride in the fact that they are doing their best to help it die.

 

Oh what a cunning little devious company they are. Devious and stupid.

i don't think piracy is an argument because:

1) far cry 2 was initially intended only for pc

2) i am sure that a lot of people who own a xbox/ps3 version of the game (gta4) will also buy the pc version.

Amazing the stupidity that gets posted on forums, console piracy is not even 1% of what it is on PC, almost anyone can download a game/movie, it isn't hard, for console, it requires a hardware modification, that a large number of console gamers do not even know exists. Sure, console piracy exists, but it is much, much smaller, and sales of console games still dwarf that of PC, so it doesn't hurt it. PC sales were never as high, so piracy hurts it much more greatly. Apples and oranges my friend.

If it does then they can't be expecting us to pay full price for a second hand game, not very smart ROCKSTAR and that DS there just wasting money there. Instead of wasting do the smart move and release the PC and forget about DS. I know there doing the DS but you know it makes sense + how many people in the world own a DS compared to a PC...
