Same here, I'm going to get SR2 after a couple of months this year and Mafia 2 when released, GTA 4 is a joke anyway and will not be worth my money.

Actually a link to something has appeared. Some Russian warez site but that stuff is illegal. If one would ask me I could point out that you cold search Google for something like this "gta4download". I don't know anything other then that.

But I'm not sure if thats the real GTA 4 or just a bunch of viruses..

We'll see when someone comments on it.

Don't download that, it may be some bullsh*t instead of the real GTA 4.. wait until the comments are written on that site and see. And if it is real, it will be leaked on real p1rat3 sites though, so you wouldn't have to get that with a low speed would you?

People, we need to show those R* our iron will. That "GTA IV port" is probably not worth it as it would be all over the web right now and besides we don't need those hoes questioning our morality.

 

Anyway, if there was a port and if someone had the x360 version of GTA IV, would it be illegal for him to use the port to play it on his PC? I mean you would own the game and port could be considered as a mod.

I think it would be illegal to spread it in the internet, but not to use it for personal use. Such as making copies of the original games; as long as you are the only one who use it and you purchased the original game then it is legal. But if you sold the copied CDs then you're screwed..

Ok, what annoys me about this thread is bitching about Microsoft, yes their money hungry etc and so are Sony but face it like 90+ percent of you are using windows XP or Vista and GTA4 will most likely come out on either of the 2 mentioned OS's, and GTA4 will use DX9. So face it your ass belongs to Redmond. Hate the product (the consoles) not the company, as both produce soem useful software/hardware.

I don't mind the Microsoft mice, but I only use illegal versions of Windows because all the software is made for it. If software like Photoshop, Maya, 3DS Max etc, was made for...say...Ubuntu Linux, then I would make the switch without any hesitation.

 

And as for Sony, the company I always talk about is SCE (Sony Computer Entertainment), and basically all they make is the LameStation, and are the single, main, primary, 100%, definite, no-questions-asked, and undeniable reason, that we have this exclusivity sh*t with Grand Theft Auto in the first place.

I say f*ck'em. Also, they can eat sh*t. Of M$ I use XP but I installed every third party program I could (like Firefox, and BSPlayer and such). They are jsut lame. Of Sony we have a TV and that's it. I don't need nor want the PSP3.

It'll take a while. But like I said, I peeked inside the first archive, and it's not like a big .exe or anything, there are .big files in a folder called Art..

@smiler_16: I'm going to unpack it in OS X and scan it with kaspersky, see what's inside. And then I'm going to install it in XP, and even if it's a virus, I can always format my XP partition, I only keep it for one game (PES 2008), so I'll test it out tonight!

You are wasting your time. This simply can't be real. You would need to build this game from almost ground up for it to be on PC.

I'm more than positive, that some pair of Russian geeks are not enough to do that.
