GTA IV for PC

You would think that R* would come up with 3 or 4 different email auto-responses to the question, "When will GTA IV be released for the PC?" This way, they keep it fresh for those who "fail". Instead of reading the same repetitive lines, we get something new and entertaining in our 2nd and 3rd go around. Then, hopes of succeeding would be kept alive and would give us more to discuss.

 

 

 

Sir, you stand corrected. All mails contain small variations. Only some words differ, the content stays the same.

 

For example, other users mails started with "Hey maet", mine started with "Hi <my name>". Also, mine didn't contain any dates while some of the other did.

 

Point being, they are not the same, but the meaning form a response to response doesn't change. Also, I wonder why didn't they answer me at first, while I was still cordial? Only when I resorted to insults, they replied.

Umm, yes, u can, many pC gamers do, if u go by your comment, you need to buy a 360, PS3 and wii just to get all the games, if u have a PC there is no need to buy a console, especuially the 360, most of its game worth having are on PC, and u get PC exclusives like Stalker, The witcher, NWN2, Crysis...... BS, don't need a console for kid game like platformers, fighting game, or the 1-2 exclusives that are half decent, PC has its own.

If you would have read some posts at this thread you would know, we don't want to burn our money to play a game worse than it could be. Think about why we're waiting although we want it to play as much as any other GTA fan. So judging from your post to me it seems you have to be one of the console kiddies or a stupid moron... pick whatever fits you best.

There are a lot of dumb people, that is the masses for u. You are one of them, I never once mentioned graphics, dumbing down means making a game easier and more accessible for the masses, whcih is what happens on consoles. Look what happened to the once good Rainbow Six series, it was once a great tactical game, now it has been dumbed down to appeal to the kids on console. Oblivion is another one. Great job proving my point though. Consoles have to appeal to a wide audience, and any game that gets released with the mass market in mind has to get dumbed down.

You are right, it's hard to stick to one. With the limited catalogs and proliferation of "exclusive" titles, you do NEED throw away your $$$ just to have decent selection of games to play.

 

You can go back to playing Mortal Kombat and Pokemon now.

look at 2007, the best year in years, Pc Had the best lienup, it had all 360 games, plus Crysis, Stalker, The wicher, etc....

Alright guys!! You're all alot more well informed than me with regards to games. I am not a fully fledged gaming addict, I enjoy games highly but do not dedicate my entire time to it. All Im saying is there is fun to be had across all platforms!

The consoles do have some pretty good exclusives. A great example is Dead Rising.

If that is what you call great, I rest my case. Average filler games, especially comapred to The Witcher, NWN2, Crysis, Stalker, Sins of a Solar empire, etc......

 

hardly a reason to fork over $400 for a console.
