adamcs
R* have finally confirmed that GTA IV will use NaturalMotion's Euphoria. I think we all knew this anyway but it's nice to have confirmation. Â Incase you're wondering about the source, the fact was stated in a word document which was sent alongside the trailer to the online press. Adriaan
Good news, can finally put that rumor to rest. Niko hanging onto the helicopters in the trailer reminded me of Euphoria's doing something similar with a plane...
Starion
The door splintering when Niko kicked it open seemed like it too. Â Not a surprise. But thank god it's confirmed. Â mod it with Nitrous Oxide and chassis dyno.
steve-m
That door is probably just part of the cutscene and scripted, I don't think they'll have anything destroyable other than small, single objects like boxes, lamp posts and whatever they had in the previous games. And that wouldn't be part of euphoria either. What was shown in the Star Wars game was a technology called "Digital Molecular Matter".
Funk3h
Yay! It will make the game rock majorly. Great physics from what i've seen.

Crokey
Well after seeing the new trailer and some of the movement that's in it, it's going to be pretty good. The best example is the bit where he jumps out the car when it's moving  @adamcs: Now tell us how you do that with your sig, or is it Staff Privilege.

GTA3leading man
Good news, can finally put that rumor to rest. Niko hanging onto the helicopters in the trailer reminded me of Euphoria's doing something similar with a plane... in the euphoria tech demo there was a character holding another dangling one when they were on a helicopter
FiShMaStEr
Definitly being shown off in the new trailer, with the hanging off the helicopter and the back of the truck. Just have to wait and see if this sort of thing will be possible in game, or the engine limited for that time and it's full potential only used in the cut scenes. Â As for the wood splintering, yeah looks like a custscene, the endorphin engine I believe it was called is being used in the new star wars game. Chargr
Actually Euphoria had been confirmed a long time ago by PSM. When R* and NaturalMotion became partners, I couldn't scan it when I got it, because I had no scanner.
Exkabewbikadid
Actually Euphoria had been confirmed a long time ago by PSM. When R* and NaturalMotion became partners, I couldn't scan it when I got it, because I had no scanner. Actually, the partnership was reported four months ago. It just didn't explicitly state that GTA IV was one of those upcoming titles. Now we know 100%.
FelipeVinhao
Nice news. Could notice that on this last trailer. Piece of great work, if Niko's really able to grab on vehicles and helis and not only on cutscenes. And yes it's very similar to Euphoria's demo video.
