freshlaundryX
oh right, so no speedometer BLOODY AGAIN??? and no sat-nav great agreed re: turk-mag. don't take that statement to heart. -- However, in GTA IV one of the camera views is an IN-CAR view over the dashboard. And they said you can look in every direction. So, I would bet you that with a downward push of the right stick you could see the speedometer through the steering wheel. That would be cool. And you wouldn't have to look at it the whole time, you're getting chased, you get to a straight-a-way and have time, you tap the right stick and glance down at the speedometer, ahh... pushin 70, then look up again right before smacking into a huge garbage truck. JohnnyDrama
Careful, guys. At the beginning of that article, Yahoo states that they searched the internet for most of their information. If it sounds like the infamous "Turkish mag," maybe that's because it is. As much as I'd like some of that to be true, I wouldn't bet money on it. I'm just saying. True, but I'm hoping that the link between R* and Yahoo! will put some pressure on Yahoo! to confirm their info with R* before they post it. nintandrew13
Just wanted to let everyone to know, you can only get to the info on Yahoo!'s GTA4 Xbox 360 page. Royal55
Maybe you can stuff bodies up in trees. You can't tell me that stuffing dead bodies up in a tall tree wouldn't be cool. Also, does anyone think that GTAIV has a Law & Order vibe to it? I've been watching Law & Order for the past few nights and it came to me. Maybe because there both set in New York (Liberty City). Just watch an episode or two and then look at that artwork that came with the second trailer announcement, then you'll see. dertyjerzian
climb trees? wonder how R* will put that in a mission? sava a cat? Works for the fireman mission, why not The whole gore-is-more-brutal-than-ever thing leads me to finally have better grasps on "Pre Order To Avoid Disappointment". One day till that trailer, that's all I'm waiting for. I Hope the hud is optional, not just visual on the protag. uzi 9mm
Sorry about not posting a link , now you have one anyway. Yeah and I forgot to mention that thy was merely summarising net info, but what made me think nothing of it is that R* said they will be telling Yahoo! new information, meaning they are in contact with R* in some way, so I'm sure they wouldn't post false information... Is most of the info hard to believe anyway though? R* have said Niko will be able to go about the environment more freely accessing hard-to-reach spots, so climbing tree's doesn't seem out of the question, it's just that I think a lot of people can't picture tree-climbing in a game. More gore seems to be logical as realism is what R* are aiming for, and gore is not just explicit sick content, it's real. You cut someone, they bleed, simple. I'm not so sure about putting bodies in trees though, it's a bit farfetche'd if you ask me. Still we can only wait and see, the trailer is tomorrow!!! Bhavesh.Chauhan
Is the armor gonna be outside of the clothes. That would look weird. i don't think so, it'll definetely be an improvement. i hope if niko seeing some floating armour around there's an animation of him actually wearing it. that would be sorta cool i suppose. uzi 9mm
It makes sense. What is the need for the armour status on the hud? If it were to gradually break off as you get shot, once it's gone you already know you're taking actual body damage from then on, much more realistic. How can watching numbers decreasing be any better than an actual, visible armour being worn? If anything it's more convenient as you don't have to keep glancing at the status on the hud whilst in a shootout like on the PS2 GTA's, before you know it you're dead! At least looking at the character himself can't really cause any loss of concentration as your eyes are constantly on the action. Unless of course you are just watching him being shot at for the fun of viewing it as it look cool. JohnnyDrama
Le Parkour is in da game! Yeah, yeah. Funny guy. Maybe it's just me, but I don't see a forty-year old guy springing around on handrails and walls. Ha, ha! On a totally different note, let's say that whole bit about the visble body armor is true. First of all, it's illegal to wear body armor if you're not within certain groups that have permission to wear said object. Do I need state which individuals can? I didn't think so. Second, seeing how it's illegal to wear, that's just one more reason for the cops to single out Niko for a night-stick beating. If it is in the game (humor me), then they had best make the cops acknowledge it as a big no-no, which brings me to my point: wearing body armor as an outer layer of clothing makes no sense. zainkool
I knew all this before already...so in my eyes yahoo let me down...i was expecting some much more...and they just had info on what we already know...and interview with Dan Houser was a total let down...no new info....and were the most stupid questions ever asked...Rock* probably laughed in there face by the stupidity of the questions...I would of came up with better questions then that Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/283578-some-new-details-from-yahoo/?do=findComment&comment=4328548 Share on other sites

FBI4X4Booster
Oh yeah baby I can't wait to create some mayhem and them climb trees to escape.
