Ring_of_Fire
Click on New Game and then save that new game. Load it back, if desired. Â And if you want to know if it is "installed", check here for a file called [GTASAsf] in "My Documents" -> "GTA San Andreas User Files" Â Â Other downloadable save files can be installed quite easily as well: just download it, save as, place the file in the same "GTASA User Files" folder. Launch San Andreas and load that game. Edited June 26, 2007 by Ring_of_Fire

Justin
You mean one you've downloaded? Paste it in My Documents\GTA San Andreas User Files. It'll be in the format GTASAsfX.b where X is a number 1-8 corresponding to that save's slot position. So if you "install" a saved game with filename GTASAsf6.b, fire up SA and load the game in the sixth slot.
Demarest
Also, my SA PC runs great and has for as long as I've had it. Now when I got FFVII PC, that didn't work so great. So rather than trying to ramrod along, doing other things, cursing the game itself, I took the time to MAKE it work. Then once it was working, I was able to do everything else no problem and didn't have to go around telling others about how a product was junk when in fact it was my own laziness

Ring_of_Fire
Â TBH GTA:SA suxx on pc as its always crashing and unreliable Utter rubbish! Â Â ive tried installing the save file and no luck as my game decided to delete my save files once again Games don't delete user document files - they only read, open, and edit 'em. Unless of course it is not the correct version save and the game starts over from the beginning instead, then you will obviously have to make sure the save file and the game version itself matches (v1.0/v2.0). Â Â but plz how the hell do u install save files cos as u said aint working If you most likely have Windows Vista installed, try pasting the save file into the DATA folder of San Andreas then!
