Well, as some have noticed, I'm more of a story-maker-upper than a full-on author. I enjoy making a story much more. Anyways, this thread is dedicated to story ideas. Whether it be sharing ideas for feedback, requesting an idea, etc. I am just intruiged by it and would rather help form a storyline than correct grammatical errors!

 

Anyways, who wants to be first? Or I can be. I'll post mine in a bit.

Hmm, nice idea for a new thread.

 

I'm planning on, after finishing The Made Man, writing a few short fanfics covering plotholes from the storylines and stuff.

Like writing a shortie for Brian's death, another for the made man Toni killed back in '94 and stuff.

This idea is up for the taking, for those decent writers without a story: Prison War! Not going to say details, for 2 reasons. 1: That's for you to decide. 2: Haven't figured any out, because I won't be writing it!

 

I would appreciate if authors credit original concepts to those that think them up. Otherwise, it's next to copyright infringement.

I started writing an original story a while back, but I gave up on it because things just weren't working out as planned. I still have the brief summary, so here it is.

 

Kanto, Japan. 2008. A bus of 28 students in class B year 9 of Shinou Kelidi Middle School is sent to hell. A lazy Shinigami [Death God] is sent on his last job before his two hundred year vacation and the target is Noboru Tae, a convicted murderer and child rapist who escaped from a local prison the prior night. Shinou Kelidi's annual fieldtrip is in progress, when Noboru, who is trying to escape the local Kanto Police Department hides on one of the stationed buses outside of the museum. After a rushed soul reaping, the bus becomes stranded on a mountain top, and Noboru takes everyone on the bus with him down to hell. The class of students, still alive, are now 'Free Souls' trapped in hell, and the powers that be are very negative of 'Free Souls' and set out to begin a capture and 'conversion', or death. Nova Miro takes the lead in a group of fifteen year olds to try and find his girlfriend somewhere in the depths of hell, and find a way out.

 

I'ma write an original story starting later today or tomorrow.

When I finish London 2027 I would like to either

 

a) start planning my story I had about two rivalling hooligan gangs, exploring the culture of hooliganism and what drives them on. It would also tell of the stories outside of the fighting. About a working class background etc.

 

b) Get started on a sequel to London 2027.

A comical story about a couple of gangsters who decide to pull a bank heist. The twist? One of them takes the fall, while pretending to be in a wheelchair. Essentially, the story unravels into a courtroom drama, examining the issues of the disabled in prison.

Here's my (hopefully) future projects:

 

1) [no title yet]- It's about a lawyer that is struggling in business and resorts to working in meth-labs. That's all for now, and yes, there will be blood. (Ha ha...had to say that.)

 

2) Love Never Dies- a short story telling the true story of everyones favorite band, Love Fist!

 

3) A horrifying tale of CJ raping Sweet for revenge....j/k!

I have two good ideas, but I'll only reveal one of them now. One's a fan fic, but it'll be very loosely tied to the GTA games, and will have very few returning characters, if any at all. It takes place in Liberty City, 2002 . James McGarry is released from ten years of imprisonment after being arrested at a failed bank robbery. James (or maybe he'll be referred to as 'Jimmy' or 'Jim'), was involved with the Liberty City Limericks, otherwise known as the Irish Mob. The Limericks are based on the Westies of New York's Hell's Kitchen (which I've turned LC's Harwood into the GTA counterpart) and Boston's Winter Hill Gang. The Limericks have never really made an impact on the LC underworld, although they thrive in Harston (Boston).

 

I was thinking on making James somewhat pissed off at some of the leaders of the Limericks, because his father disappeared at one point while working with them. Maybe he could become the boss? I don't know, it's very rough at this point. Although, I do plan on introducing him only very briefly in the Cipriani/Leone War, but only as a very minor character. I'm planning on making the two stories intertwine, but not in huge ways.

Alright, but I was planning on using Bob Saccamano's story as canon in mine. I'm talking about Bob's Three Families Origin, I forget the name. I may have to PM him first and ask for permission.

Anyway, the basic story is that there are ten teenage friends. One of which has a rich uncle, that passes away, and leaves his nephew his mansion, but there's a catch; he has to stay in it for 24 hours to keep it. He thinks it could be fun, and invites his friends. He thought wrong.

 

Each chapter will represent one hour of the 24 hours, so it will only reach 24 chapters. Two things, though:

 

I can't think of a name for the Uncle

I can't think of names for the teens

I can't think of a name for the story

 

Any ideas?

Know the ancestry, if someone is Russian, give 'em a Russian last name. Or not. No big. You could just go with the suggestion above. Or think up random names.
