Ugee Posted June 15, 2007 Share Posted June 15, 2007 Well.. the trip to LC in SA kinda made it obvious that the next GTA would take place back in LC.. The Warriors made me think it'll strongly replicate NY.. so those were correct guesses. Those no word about snow actually in GTA IV but I have a feeling it just might be. It could also open up new side missions. It would be awesome walking through central park with snow all over the trees and on the ground. Rebel Posted June 15, 2007 Share Posted June 15, 2007 Snow would be a great add to IV especially if it meant that you may get new side missions as well ( shoveling the snow! ) But if its in NY then theres a lot of snow there in winter anyway right?? so if they were going into the realism on the weather part as well then it may be there. Though, they're working with new challenges on a next-gen platform. Still, it's possible. I wouldn't hold my breath though. The storyline continues just in another time of the year Yes, but then the PS3 wouldn't get snow and we all know everyone would be crying about that. But if there is snow in the game, I think it'll be just like True Crime NYC's snow. Just the same thing as rain but white and slower falling. I believe that R* wants to put snow in LC because in LCS for PSP, when you do car sales it will snow as you get farther, this was removed from the PS2 version for no apparant reason. We know that R* has the snow phisics figured out. 2. When you go to LC in SA for that one mission, look around and you will see snow coming down in the mission. 3. If you head back to LC in SA after you do the mission, by a series of different cheats and tricks that I won't cover hear, there is snow built up in the street, next to walls, and around trees. 4. In one section of GTA III there is snow, there is right next to the hospital parking lot. If I have people contradict me I will post a pic. You guys cant be that big of a GTA IV fan if you dont read important articles like interviews with the creator. It been on the front page of the GTA IV news website and in magazines. DAN-1243: Dan Houser really said that? What magazine/website interviewed him about that?
