BB Codes

 

All BB Codes deal with [ ] and /

 

Also close a code with [/NAMEOFCODE]

 

For example [bbcode]TEXT HERE[/bbcode]

 

Most of the codes can be accesse right above the post but for signature, you have to manually add them yourself.

 

Now lets get to the actual code to work with your sigs and posts.

 

 

Code - This allows you to post BB Code without it doing what it's suppose to do. Allows you to see the Code.

Alignment - This can position your posts and sigs from right or center, left is by default.

 

This alignment is to the right

Font Codes - Allows you to change how your font looks and appears.

Youtube - Allows you to place video into a post.

 

 

Once you find a video you want to show on the forum. You copy and past the ID number of the video. Picture for reference.

Tables - These are a bit complicated but this should help you out. There are two typs of tables, ones with borders and ones without. For complex tables, pm me.

 

Basic parts to tables are the <Table>/<Tableb><TR><TD><TH>

<Table> - Without borders

<Tableb> - With borders

<TR> - Makes the Rows

<TD> - Makes the Columns

<TH> - Title/Header of the Table. Makes it bold.

I'm wondering if it's possible to add the Indent BB code.

 

In writer's discussion, it's really inconvenient to have to hint enter to space out every paragraph. It makes the story seem much longer and it just doesn't look right. I was wondering if you could please add it.

GTA3Rockstar, your example doesn't work - the 'jumpto' tag needs '#part2', not 'part2' like you posted, because the BB -> HTML parsing is seriously flawed -and HTML->BBcode doesn't work at all for anchor/jumpto.

You cannot properly quote or edit a post that contains either of them because the parser isn't able to recognize the HTML code as one that needs reconversion to BBCode. The HTML code will be shown instead of the proper BBcode when editing/quoting the post, and will therefore not be parsed when this post is sent (because HTML parsing is disabled). Too bad, it might have been useful for longer posts.
