darthYENIK
I was just watching the Greatest Plays in baseball on a sports channel. And figured I'd like to hear what everyone thought the greatest plays in ALL of sports were. And now that we have video sharing sites like Youtube, we could actually see these great plays, as opposed to just talking about them, like the good old days. If you are not familiar with how to use the youtube tags...here's a little rundown. Just go to youtube or whatever site you want to get the video from. Find the video you want and go to the URL on the right hand side of the video, and copy just the lettered video code at the end. Like this... URL= http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wozEF0bORxQ Video Code= wozEF0bORxQ Paste that last part into your post where you want it. And use the "youtube" code like this... wozEF0bORxQ And your end product will be this... Hockey: Spin-o-rama Ryan Shannon (Now of the Stanley Cup Champion Anaheim Ducks), makes this spin-o-rama backhand goal look way easier than it looks. Baseball: Not only does the second baseman make a sliding catch, not only does he make a blind behind the back throw whilst still in a slide, but the shortstop makes a barehanded catch. If baseball was ever an art, this would be the Mona Lisa in my opinion. Edited October 3, 2007 by Attorney General

GTA3Rockstar
Its not real clear but what happend was, the ball bounced on the back of Freeman and never hit the ground. He grabbed it off his back and then ran for the game winning touchdown. BEST EVER
Guglielminpietro
Most players don't score one goal in their career as good as these ten. I give you Matt Le Tissier: Oh by the way, the second and third goals in the video were in the same game. I remember switching over from some commercial and literally tuning in just when the ball was thrown. All I remember is immediately jumping up and celebrating out of sheer awesomeness of the catch. darthYENIK
Ok look at the first clip here. It's the same player/play from my first video, but one of the great goaltenders of our time, Mr. Marty Turco, shuts him down.

Attorney General
This is a dual clip with two equally brilliant goals score by Diego Maradona and Lionel Messi. And all of Kobe Bryant's 81 points that he scored against the Toronto Raptors. It was the second highest game total of all time in the NBA. geomy
First off, yes disc golf is a sport. Cale Leiviska has to make his putt from 75' to force a sudden death playoff...It's (a lot) harder than it looks.

darthYENIK
Alexander Ovechkin's sliding behind-the-back goal of godly proportions (best goal EVER) I'd agree on that, but it was against the coyotes. He's a great player, but I'd ring that one up to luck, and playing against a sh*tty team.
Forty
Some luck maybe, but I don't think it matters what team is playing against that type of score.

darthYENIK
Scott Stevens plows Paul Kariya, Kariya comes back with a goal This was back in the 2003 Stanley Cup finals game 6. I was watching live, and basically thought my favorite player's career was ended. He was lying on his back, and his chest was completely still. Thankfully, the hit merely knocked the wind out of him, as you can see the moment he's finally able to suck some air into his lungs. After the hit he was taken to the locker room for a medical check up. He came back a few moments later, and I almost had tears in my eyes to see he was ok. I might actually have gotten some tears when he slapped that laser past Martin Brodeur, forcing a game 7. Which they lost.

darthYENIK
A few reasons #99 is The Great One. I don't know a single player now a days that would get the universal respect (from just about anyone who plays that particular sport), the way that Gretzky did when he played. Too bad he's not doing so well as a coach. But even when I go see the Coyotes play the Ducks, and I look down at that bench to see him, I get awe struck that I'm looking down at THE GREAT ONE. I mean, he's the reason I love the sport.
