If anyone wants to hit up How To Survive on XB1 drop me a line. It's been a while since I played a zombie game, but this one feels like it'd be cool in co-op. I'll even subscribe to XBL just for you.:p

Wolfenstein: The New Colossus. Holy crap this might be my game of the year. It's even better than the previous one I think. I can't remember everything that happened in the New Order, but it feels like the campaign in this one is better paced. There's no overly lengthy sections where you're stripped from your guns and the story remains a lot more compelling with surprises as well as good drama and comedy throughout. All the characters are great, even the little discussions between random people are so interesting to listen to.

Gameplay-wise I think it feels about the same as TNO, which isn't bad since it was already really good. I find it maybe a bit easier to run and gun in this one tho and I think I picked the same difficulty level in both games.

Really damn good game. Definitely recommend picking it up.

I've been playing Destiny 2 a ton lately. I've already hit max power on my huntress, I still have to get my Warlock and titan to 305, but my Warlock is only 1 price away and my titan is 301. Ive been farming to get my clan to level 6, which I got it there last night...and just about a month before season 2 comes in...and it will all reset to better perks...

Say whatever you want and the game, I find it fun and fun to play with friends regardless. I look forward to the new content coming next month

I've been going back and forth from Destiny to GTA also, gta hinestly gets bland after awhile...and when you're broke and tried of grinding...i think Gta is more of a grind than Destiny

Tryna get the Platinum award in all MP3's "Score Attack" missions and playing some good ol' RDR - what a masterpiece! RDRII better live up to its predecessor.

Bought the definitive edition of MGS5 last week. After getting all the trophies in Ground Zeroes, I moved on to Phantom Pain. So far it's been really great

Downloaded Firewatch and played it for a bit. It was really interesting and has an engaging storyline. Now I am downloading Watch Dogs 2 and I fear I will never play Firewatch again.

Batman Arkham Knight now. Asylum and Arkham City were awesome if you're into Splinter Cell or Tomb Raider type games with plenty of kung fu mixed in

I usually switch between 2-3 different games and don't want to play AC Origins all the time so I started replaying The Last of Us on hard difficulty.

Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag.

Still trying to find the perfect mapping setting. Bad part is, for some stupid reason picking up Knives doesn't seem to work in the PC version. Are these things unavailable for PC'ers or what?

Been playing the Elder Scrolls Online with a friend. I wasn't really interested in it before, but we got it from Humble Monthly so we gave it a shot. What surprises me is how damn easy the game is, at least so far. I barely ever die or have to use any consumables and you can easily get good gear just by queuing to a dungeon which often puts you in a group with players who are way above you in level and can make the dungeon super easy. Not to mention that the dungeons scale to your level so you can just farm them to get good rare gear(the scaling doesn't seem to stop high level players from steamrolling the early dungeons tho). Also it's really frustrating that you can't just have the same quests progression for your entire group, most of the time every individual player has to do the same sh*t. And I wish you could have more abilities in your hotbar at the same time.

I do hope the game becomes more challenging at later levels, because right now the combat gets kinda boring with me just spamming the same moves over and over.

^Lego City Undercover is the best lego game imo. Played the sh*t out of it with my brother. It's a GTA clone where you play as a cop and go.. undercover. Not only that, it's actually an original story and not a movie game. They rereleased it on current gen too, I think.

The other games are more like sidescrollers but crazy fun in co-op. But I only played the first Batman game and only the demos of some others.

Finished TLOU for the 2nd time today. It was still just as touching as the first time. What a phenomenal game.

Thinking about restarting Red Dead Redemption next. I'll most likely wait until I'm done with Origins though. Can't wait to see how it still holds up after all these years.

Resident Evil 0. I miss these old RE games. Fixed camera angles, wonky controls that kind of make you feel a little more vulnerable. I played the demo of RE7, and I liked that, but theres something about these old games that really feel scary and fun to play.

Alternating between Ghost Recon Wildlands, which I picked up for next to nothing, and the new DLC for Rome 2.

Still not sure how I feel about it. I've only played like 5 hours with it, and none of my carefully curated mods work anymore.

Just finished the remastered LA Noire.

I've been playing the Kingdom Hearts 1.5 + 2.5 HD Collection since mid-October. First game was kind of a drag for me but I managed to finish it a month and half later. I got past the beginning for KH2 and then my friend told me to play Chain of Memories otherwise I would be confused with the story. Basically, It's too early for me to decide whether I like this series.

Other than that, I just started playing Yakuza 0 and it's awesome. I'm only on chapter 2 but I'm enjoying it alot.

I've finished Wolfenstein 2 yesterday. What a game. Personally disagreeing with all the criticism surrounding it.

Does it end with a cliffhanger? It does, but what, did you expect to end the war with this game? It was always meant to be a trilogy and the game takes a few steps foward in the story. But I'd have to step into spoiler territory to explain what I mean.

I've almost rounded up AC Origins and played it for an hour or so yesterday. After 110 hours, I've already gotten a bit tired of it towards the end, reaching 99% completition and almost the platinum trophy. I'll let it rest for now. I loved it all the way through but the endgame burnout occurs with every single open world game. Hell, I remember being too tired of The Witcher 3 and not finishing all the side quests before dropping the game..

So... back to Skyrim and Fallout I guess.

Oh right, Darksiders 2 is free this month. Think I'll play that.

So I decided to put AC Origins on the backburner. I've still got some sidequests to wrap up, but I decided to save those until the more substantial DLC comes out, and I was getting a little Origins'd out. As much as I utterly love and adore the game, no game can be played for that long without starting to feel a bit stale.

So I turned my attention to Far Cry 5, my next anticipated release, and decided to hype myself up by playing the other ones. I'd started up a new save of FC3 on the XB1, but then I remembered I'd never finished Primal, so I started up a playthrough of that. In Survival Mode this time (no Permadeath though, I ain't about that life :p).

While I feel that this wasn't really worthy of being released at full price (it feels more like a really kickass piece of DLC for FC4, like Blood Dragon on steroids), I still think it's a really awesome game, and while the gameplay does eventually get back into the groove of taking over camps, hunting/crafting etc., the caveman approach still helps it feel fairly unique and fresh (it also helps that there's no more tower climbing to reveal the map - instead, you reveal the map just by exploring), and I really love how it places a strong emphasis on the hunting, crafting and wilderness survival, which has always been my favorite part of FC. The animal taming's really awesome too, though since Survival Mode makes all animal deaths final, I'm reluctant to take them with me haha. I just wish we'd been able to ride the REALLY big animals, namely the full-sized mammoths and the Cave Bear. God that would have been amazing.

The story's pretty simplistic, but done well enough, and it fits this type of game pretty perfectly. And I just love the use of language here. I always absolutely love it when games avert the "Everybody everywhere speaks English, just with a funny accent" trope (see also: the heavy use of German in the Wolfenstein series starting with The New Order, Nate's completely untranslated adventures with Tenzin in Uncharted 2), and seeing it in this game put a smile on my face.

And really, how often do you see this kind of setting nowadays? The most recent and notable example I can think of was 10,000 BC back in 2008, and... yeah. I mean, I'm preeeeetty sure real early humans didn't have grappling hooks with nearly unlimited rope, but at least this game doesn't show Egyptians using Wooly Mammoths to build the Pyramids or whatever the hell happened in that movie, haha.

Never finished FC Primal either. I loved it at first, I thought the game world was incredibly gorgeus and reminded me of Skyrim with a little less snow. However, after 12 hours or so, the game got pretty hard and I started to feel a little sick of all those fetch quest. Note that I started on Survival right away. The game released before Watch Dogs 2 and ACO, those were the games that (finally) took a spin on the classical Ubi formula and sadly, Primal wasn't one of those games. It felt like the same old sh*t. I wanted to finish it but had games to play that I enjoyed a bit more so it fell into my backlog and stayed there.

FC5 is also on my list of games I need to get eventually. Gonna wait for reviews but I don't think I'll be able to hold myself off for long. I just hope it's an open world done right, just like WD2 and ACO. The trailers look like they were made by R*.

GTA 5 with mods, changing the NPC's behaviours for (shocking)events like shot fired, car stolen etc and that's pretty interesting so far.

Am playing System shock 2 with all the sweet mods. These games may be dated in looks, but they still feel as fresh and interesting to play as they were during release.

If I recall, isn't a developer doing a remaster of SS2?

Edit: Oh no, I think that was the first one. It's on Steam as System Shock: Enhanced Edition.

It's been so long since I played System Shock 2 that I can't even remember if I played the first one.

mainly cod ww2 and completing gta 5 story mode for i think the 8th time. i wish i could be half as good at cod as i am at gta, i tend to be one of the worst players in a lobby most of the time.

i dont think ill come back to gta online because of all the updates, the game is completely different and messed up now :(

after i complete the story again i think i will probably continue playing cod and either gta 4 or red dead redemption on the side until RDR 2 comes out

im sure RDR 2 singe player will be amazing but if the multiplayer is as good as gta online was before 2017 then it might be the only game i play for a long time.

I'm addicted to Bloodborne. I still can't believe how stupid I was and didn't have the patience to learn how to properly play it. It's an incredible experience that's been purchased over a year ago and due to my stupidity, was left to rot in my backlog. I take everything back. I feel a need to apologize now. Sorry bloodborne.

Once you get the hang of it, this game is so much fun. I love the creepy atmosphere, the dying, the combat and especially feeling like a badass when you make a big blood haul, level up and suddenly the areas that kicked you in the balls more times than you can count become cakewalk rainbow grinding grounds.

If you've given up on Bloodborne like I did: grow a ball or two and try it over and over again until you learn it. It's such a bittersweet game, it blows my mind that I thought "it's too hard" and "not my kind of game". It wasn't. If I could get into it, so can every halfway decent gamer.
