Algonquin Assassin

Just been playing Surgeon Simulator on the PS4. Don't ever get me to perform a heart transplant irl lol.

I'm a bit scared to buy one of these wacky titles lol. Surgeon Simulator, Goat sim, I am bread and so on.

I played Goat simulator before with a friend. It's mindnumbingly dumb but kinda fun to explore in co-op and try things out. I don't think I could play that game alone though.

To be honest I only buy/play these crazy indie games when they're dirt cheap and I'm curious to see how silly they are.

I'd never pay full price for them.

I just started playing Fahrenheit (or Indigo Prophecy as it's also called). While the game hasn't aged that well seeing as it's from 2005, the story so far is pretty interesting. I was a big fan of Heavy Rain, so I look forward to see what David Cage did with his earlier work.

So Fortnite finally got the free Battle Royale mode and I've been playing two hours straight. I wanted to get back into Fallout, work on my backlog but will probably play Fortnite a lot now.

It's like PUBG. It's completely FREE and you don't even need a PS+ sub.

I still need to hop back into Sleeping Dogs definitive ed. and start skate 2.

I blew the dust off of Assassin's Creed Syndicate. I missed Evie... I've yet to DL the DLC centered around her, though.

Lucky you. Jack The Ripper is awesome. It's one of the best DLC Ubisoft ever made.

I wish I could hop back to Syndicate but don't want to right before Origins. I have a dozen other games to play too.

I want to play every single f*cking game I own at the same time lol. It's becoming a real problem.

I re-installed Metro: Last Light. I never completed it. I played and completed 2033 twice though. I just love listening to the stories NPCs tell each other, the atmosphere and I'm not a graphics whore but they're superb.

All sorts of ugly, mean people down in the Metro..

I am all about the sports games lately, it's a wonderful time of year:

Madden 18

NBA2k18 + the Prelude

Probably will buy FIFA 18 soon, we'll see.

Still playing Mount & BLade: Warband every now and then. Haven't touched GTA since June. This is the first year ever I didn't buy a NHL game or have one gifted to me, too bad that franchise sucks and is just a roster update year after year.

Seeing those Skyrim pics makes me want to play again, I guess I could load up the ps3 again. My characters are always badass, I have a PhD in Elder Scrolls leveling. In Morrowind I found the -1 soultrap glitch before it was ever online, honest! Actually I don't even know if it's listed online(probably lol) I never checked.

I beat Resident Evil II (PS1) yesterday. Really good game. It's always special to play the classic surival horror games on PS1 because I think those games are scarier than modern games and they also have a special atmosphere. Resident Evil II wasn't really that hard, but not easy either. But there's plenty of ammo, at least when playing Claire on disc 2. In the original Resident Evil from 1996 the ammo was more sparse and there were some enemies that could attack really fast or regenerate, which could be tough at times. In Resident Evil II I had a lot of health items and ammos over. On the other hand, I usually don't play these games really fast so I don't make much mistakes. An awesome thing with Resident Evil II was Mr X, that scary guy in trenchcoat. There was a part were he smashed through a wall right in front of you, a jump scare. I had played for at least an hour and didn't have any health with me so I thought I was doomed, but I managed to escape.

This was the fourth Resident Evil game I've played this year. I have already beaten Resident Evil 1, 4 and 5. All were really good games. I've also played a similar game this year: namely the original Silent Hill.

I've been playing Gran Turismo 5 lately too. it's fun to buy and try out new cars. Haven't really played car games that much before, except NASCAR games. If I buy a Playstation 4 one day I will probably buy a car game.

The crew a lot. great for cruising with nice sceneries. Total war II: Rome. right now i'm doing Cesar in Gaul campaign. and Sleeping dogs a fantastic game. i really felt in love with that game. but sadly there won't be no sequel. because of a messy commercial strategy. devs thought it would be cool to make an online game, and it ended up in a mess during the beta. a bit like GTAO right now. you need to be pretty skilled to find original GTAs vibe in actual GTAO -_-. Sleeping dogs is the only game i found where you can feel like in GTAIII or GTAIV. with that incredible freedom feeling you know

Been dipping in and out of Battlefront. It's OK but the single player is pretty uneventful. Multiplayer is fun but I can only play it for an hour or two.

Also enjoying and being stressed out by FUT in FIFA 18. It's my first year using FUT it's quite addictive.

Seriously one of the worst games I've ever played in my life. Only good part was the opening diner scene.

Saints row 2, I forgot how much effort and work the dev' put in this game. More funny than the first but still serious tho, this is not Saints row 4.

I fall of my chair when I saw all the interiors they made, some of them are

huge and not empty. Want to go in a nightclub ? You can, and even dance or drink. Want to go to a crypt ? Casino ? Want to buy an huge suit in a luxury condo ?

There is also some locations not marked on the map.

And I love the NPC's variety and how they do things, i.e you can find people on university campus smoking weed with a bang.

You can see a lot of pimp at night in the red light district and such handle their business, they are pretty agressive and will fight with gangs and the cops.

NPC's can do a lot of things, they react to the world. It remind me of GTA IV (and they even take out an umbrella when it rain lol.)

They variety in the neighborhood and places is amazing too.

Got 1-4 of the Saints Row games, and been trying to play them in order since I've heard good stuff about 2&3, but SR1 is something I'm finding hard to sit and play for hours on end. Not sure what it is about the game, maybe it just didn't age well at all, or the various bugs, but I'm just not enjoying it as much as I really want to. On the whole, it can be really fun at times, but the gameplay is just stalling my progress through the SR series.

Out of the many games I've spent time on lately, Halo Reach is the only one I've completed, and wow the ending hit me, seriously didn't expect that at all. Only got O.D.S.T and Halo 4 to complete now from that series.

In terms of last game I played, Rayman Legends. Downloaded it for free on my 360 and never really played it much, but the GF got me it for the Switch and I'm actually really in to it lately. My work and life schedule hits my gaming time hard, so Origins is a great game to have knowing I can blast through a level or 2 in a short time.

I finished it today (with the good ending) and I liked it. Sure there were some WTF-moments and the stealth segments were easily the weakest, but all in all it was pretty enjoyable.

Hey, could you bump the SoW topic so we can discuss it there? Thanks!

In fact, I just got my hands on it. I didn't want to because of Origins coming out soon so I won't finish it until then but I was tempted after reading and watching some criticism. I mainly bought it for the sandbox aspect.

I started on Nemesis difficulty. Heard Normal is a bit too easy. I usually handle this type of combat well.

I'm still in the first area and just scouted the first towers. About 2-3 hours in or so. I'm loving it so far. It's a step up in every single way it seems.

My holy f*ck moment of the day: I was hunting for a archer captain that killed me. He had a duel with a much stronger captain just outside those city walls. I hid in the bushes and before I could act, my nemesis got slaughtered with one clean hit from his rival. Also note that some local human knights joined the spectacle.

With my nemesis slain I, of course, aimed at the captain he dueled against. He was pretty tough but it got even worse: another captain appeared, bragging about his black bloody sword. f*ck. He was an epic captain and it seemed there are more orcs than I could handle now.

Eventually I fell and the epic orc was about to kill me. I failed the quicktime event so normally I should die now.

Then one of the human knights slashed his f*cking head off. Holy crap. That dude saved my life like it was nothing. Epic orc lvl 16 killed with one clean slash by a simple knight.

I think it's scripted that there's a small chance a nearby ally can save your ass when you're about to die. So many additions that make the game so much sweeter than the last one.

I downloaded Hue on my PS4 today, seeing as it was free in October. So far it's really great, the artstyle is very pleasing and I'm loving the smooth piano soundtrack. It's a very relaxing game.

Got Dragon's Dogma for PS4. This like a drug to me in ways I cant explain. I wanna play something else or GTA, but I see DD on here and decide to play an hour.

Then the hour turns to 4 hours. Maybe Mario can take me away from it once it drops.

Second playthrough of Mass Effect: Andromeda. Aiming for 100 % but it seems unlikely, because I don't have the needed self-discipline to finish side missions due they don't move the romance progress forwards.

Oh and I just finished all previous games of the franchise. I miss Normandy SR-2.

Biggest dilemma of the century: should I play AC Origins or Shadow of War this evening? What about the weeks after? Will I switch up the games every day or play both games 1-2 hours a day?

Goodbye social life.
