I have one more chapter to beat after I beat the second to last chapter in Alan Wake. What game should I play next? I also have Witcher 3, Bioshock, and Dirt 2.

Played some Killing Floor 2 today. Probably the best horde mode game I've played. The gore physics are spectacular.

I also started playing Divinity: Original Sin with a friend. I don't actually own the game, but we managed to make it work with Nvidia gameshare on PC. It's kinda annoying to have to play on splitscreen despite playing Online, but it's pretty incredible that you can actually do this legally. I wonder if game companies will try to shut this thing down, because it could start hurting their business once it's out of beta and becomes more popular.

I played halfway through Alan Wake 2 and a half years ago and then I beat it. I wanted to play through the beginning of it because I forgot about it and I just beat it again. I also played Alan Wake American Nightmare and beat that. I am downloading Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon to play that now.

Started up Psychonauts for the first time. Really charming and funny. Can't help, but to feel that the platforming's a bit basic and oudated, but I guess that kinda applies to most platformers of the era. I hope they bring the 3rd-person platforming genre back, but also bring some innovation to it to make it feel fresh and fun.

Also I played the Long Dark. This game looked really interesting, but turned out to be the most boring survival game I've played. And I feel annoyed, because I can't refund it anymore since I played it for more than 2 hours and it's more than 2 weeks since I bought it. I like that it's going for a slightly more realistic survival experience, but it feels like it lacks goals other than eating, drinking, sleeping and staying out of the cold. You can't build any kind of base or shelter which is one of the most fun things in a lot of survival games. I didn't find a compelling reason to stay alive, maybe once it's out of early access it'll have more interesting features. I probably should have bought something like the Forest instead.

I need to finish Alan Wake myself tbh. First time I played through, I hit a checkpoint where I was surrounded by the Taken, with no ammo, and thus I gave up due to just getting stuck. Restarted it a couple month back, and just stopped playing due to me never been able to just sit and play one game at a time, but was actually enjoying it this time through.

Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon is an awesome game.

The other day I had one bullet left and then I found some ammo at a checkpoint. Here's some tips. You should never shoot the Taken until you disarm their darkness. There's a circle around them that shows how much you have hurt them with your flashlight. Look for yellow paint and look for arrows, you'll find chests with flares, flashbangs, ammo, flare guns and flare gun ammo in them. They're scattered throughout the game. I was using a shotgun on the big enemies instead of wasting revolver ammo on them. It takes about a couple shots to take down a big enemy.

Played a bit of Insurgency. It's one of the only sort of realistic shooters I'm into(the kind where you can get killed by one or two shots from any gun). I'm not a huge fan of the kind of shooters where you have big open maps and you get shot immediately by some guy from a mile away when you try to rush forward. I often just lack the patience for them. You can't really rush too much on Insurgency either of course, but you can move around a lot easier still and I just prefer engaging players in close quarters.

Also continued my first playthrough of Psychonauts, the dialogue and characters in this game are so much fun that I feel like it would work just as well as a 3d-animated movie. I'm glad that they are making a sequel although I'm worried that Tim Schafer will f*ck up the kickstarter budget like he's done before.

I really like Insurgency too. I wish there was a cinematic campaign for it. Have you played the Operation Flashpoint games? It's in an open map, but the objectives I feel are more focused and straight forward than something like Arma.

I agree with you on what you're looking for. A more linear/less random experience, but still tactical and realistic. The problem for me is I don't really care for random, single missions. I like playing through a campaign/story mode and there aren't many games that I know of that fit that criteria I'm looking for.

How is Killing Floor 2 for solo players? I bought the first one because it just looked really cool from what I saw, but after playing it, I felt that it wasn't very fun if you're by yourself.

Haven't played, Operation Flashpoint. My friend has been recommending me an early access game called Squad that just came out. Apparently it's sort of a mix between Arma and Insurgency. It's pretty expensive for something that's in early access though so I don't think I'll buy it unless it gets a big discount.

You mean solo as in play it literally by yourself? You can join a server to play it with randoms.

Been playing Arkham City, not enjoying it as much as i though, maybe i'm tired of gaming in general.

I also felt like a f*cking amateur while playing it, got stuck in tunnels, got lost in the map, don't understand what's going on the pause menu, kinda what happens when you give the joystick to someone who never plays a game, i think gta spoiled me with his overall simplicity, let's just say i would be a sucky batman.

On the light side, i think the version i bought came with extra content included, even though the DLCs codes expired years ago.

Been playing GTA Online a lot for the last few days, trying to get money for the yacht. Getting disconnected constantly is really pissing me off though so I might not keep at it for long.

Just picked up a cheap, used copy of The Crew from a guy.

Everything was fantastic until I saw they require me special in-game credits to purchase some cars and those pretentious-DLC cars on my face. But wait, there's more. They still require me to pay for several items with Uplay credit to unlock it.

..then I remember it's Ubisoft.

I'm just glad I picked up a cheap used copy.

I finally beat Witcher 3 but I still am going to play it. I'm following some guides to get these special armors. I'm going to play the Hearts Of Stone DLC after I get the armor and swords I want.

Since Volition were nice enough to release the ISO for Saints Row Undercover, I gave it a spin on PPSSPP. It's.....a masterpiece.

^ Damn... I didn't know about this game.

They should remake it for PSVita - with SRIV graphical and control quality of course.

The Vita isn't doing too well from what i've heard, and Volition has never been a handheld dev. They had to go through a bunch of legal stuff regarding the NDA to release that ISO to the public, so I can only imagine the amount of BS they'd have to go through to try and reboot it.

Me either. Looks nice, though! Here's another Saints Row game I didn't know about, Saints Row 2 Mobile:

I have been playing The Witcher 3 for the last week. I played it for 37 hours in the last week. I beat the game and then I bought the Hearts of Stone expansion pack and beat that yesterday. This game is amazing. I've played it for almost 90 hours.
