My friend and I started It Takes Two about a month ago, not sure how far we're at in the game since we haven't been able to play much due to our schedules. I also started playing Max Payne 1 for the first time last night and I'm enjoying it. It's nice that it isn't too long either so I'll be done with it pretty soon then I can play Max Payne 2. Aside from that I've mostly been playing Final Fantasy 14 these days. Though I probably won't renew my sub when it ends in a few weeks and take a break until the next major patch.

Playing Stardew Valley with my girlfriend, she must have sunk about 100 hours into that game, I’ve only put about 3 in on my own, at least. I like the world, and the day-to-day farming, fishing, etc. but I don’t care for the characters or the quests for some reason. Game hasn’t bitten me yet. Seeing Haunted Chocolatier game will be similar, but with more developed combat, thinking that might have more of a pull.

 

Downloaded the Witcher 3, and got that for the trouble on Switch, too. Haven’t played it since its release, so I’ve forgotten most events of the game. I remember it being bloody long though, but good, still. Was waiting for that next gen patch, but that seems to have been booted into the long grass.

 

 

I’m with you on Outer Worlds and Outer Wilds, didn’t get on with um either. I’ve noticed that a lot recently, super into games, but nothing’s jumping out at me. Must be becoming a grumpy old codger.

I tried to play that a couple months back on iOS, but it just fizzled out. Shame, cos I remember really enjoying it when it first came out.

Replaying Gta IV at the moment, really enjoying it, been a few years since I played the story. I want to get back to Yakuza but it's been a while, and with it's complex story and large cast of characters if I go back to it it's going to take time to get to grips with what's going on.

I currently play State of Decay 2, it's been a while since i last played the game. There are so many changes every few months. It's nice that it's possible to carry sidearms now, and switch from main weapon to side arm while aiming with the weapons. I don't like that it's needed to destroy a plague heart to be able to claim outposts. The hearts cover a specific area, and if it's not destroyed, yeah then you can't claim outposts.

 

One of my 3 main survivors died yesterday, and i couldn't loot the body, im not sure if that is a bug or it is intended. Well im having fun with the game again. The game feels a bit different everytime i play it, they update the maps and other gameplay mechanics every once in a while and i like it.

 

Sure it's a tedious survival loot slasher/shooter, but it has something to it no other game can deliver.

 

State of Decay 3 using Unreal Engine 5 will hopefully be awesome.

I have been mostly playing Red Dead Redemption Online, but Sniper Elite 5 is coming out today so I will be playing that next.

The world and lore is really cool though, I remember really enjoying that. I'll be down for the sequel for that alone if they really flesh out the RPG aspects that they didn't in the first.

I'm quite stuck into it now and I understand your criticisms. The scope of the game doesn't match Fallout at all. But I think that was bound to happen considering it was made with a fraction of the budget of the Fallout games. 

 

I'm enjoying it, but it definitely feels like a very compact experience. Not free flowing with many different possibilities, but small scale with interesting branches and outcomes. I love the writing, especially the jingles. I can't get 'It's Spacerrrssss Choice' out of my head lol.

Im playing The Saboteur, because I was curious if there is open world game from World War 2 and this game hit the nail.

Its great old school game where main Hero is badass french ressistance fighter and ladykiller, with vengeance backstory and Nazis are just badies thats needs to be killed. Really refreshing after modern woke games where everybody is bad except these who are sending messages.

Well its not perfect, some game mechanics are rough around edges but its playable.

Saddest thing about this game is, that ea shut down pandemic studios with sequel in works. Just EA beign EA ...

It's taken me 7 years on the same day one save file, but in the last 2 weeks I've finally got 100% in Metal Gear Solid V and blasted through the last 12 platforms of my final FOB - now comes the final challenge of getting my staff units up 30+ levels to unlock a few Grade 9 through 11 weapons & items I've wanted for years.

But, I drop into Apex Legends and Fortnite with a friend for a few matches.

I'm finishing SW Jedi Fallen Order, it is (mostly) great experience with incredible levels and fantastic visual verticality - I dont think I ever played game that visually looked this good and this big around player, and I played a lot of stuff and some with 'worlds' technically bigger that this but this one is next level for me personally. People that worked on textures here are gaming heroes 

...on the other hand I hate (well, most of) combat, it is made for controllers, it is boring and super annoying

I don't know if any of you remember the Ray flash series, but it's made by the same chap. Feels like a full realisation of what he was doing with Ray.

 

It feels good, pretty funny, fully voice acted, too.

The demo's just one mission, but there's multiple paths, I can't say too much, though, because I've only had one run through so far but I'll get back on the rest later today for sure.

Picked up theHunter: Call of the Wild for like 15 bucks. It looks nice and all but it's kind of boring.

These days I'm doing lots of digging & reworking in my house back garden, so what is better for my relaxation then just lots & lots of 'shotguning' - best time to whip-out old school Dooms I recently got super cheap  

Gonna run through whole 'trilogy' from Doom3 BFG edition on ultra-violence for old times' sake! Didn't play them literary "in decades"  It is nice that you do have Steam achievements for all three games.

Funny thing how I remember some of the levels like I played them last time last week, and It's probably because we played them over LAN multiplayer so much (long time ago). Lots of other stuff, I dont remember at all

I deleted it. It may be a more realistic hunting sim but Red Dead is funner to play. I dunno just little things annoyed me, like I'd shoot at a glass window and nothing would happen, glass wouldn't break. Shot at a gas can and it didn't move just got one of those cheapy bullet holes, no fishing

 

I dunno it's a nice hiking simulator I guess, the world maps I played on looked really good and natural but I wasn't really having any fun exploring it

been playing RED DEAD REDEMPTION 2 and completing the second strand of exotics collectibles. I have also completed main missions and side missions. also another game I am playing is ace combat 7 skies unknown. I am up to the 12th mission started on casual easy.

I've been itching to play RDR2 since it released, but the 30fps just seems a little unplayable to me. I really wanna play RDR2 since I really enjoyed the 1st. It was basically the first game I 100%. Thing is, my eyes have been used to high frame rates since it's basically my minimum standard nowadays.

 

Maan, I really need a remake of RDR1 and at least a proper current-gen port of RDR2. At least with PC-level visuals and 60fps.

It's on my shortlist 'to play this year' but I'm fkd hard by Remedy & 505 (and Epic exclusivity) over on Steam with Control I bought with my monthly Humble bundle - they give us 'standard' edition that is registered on Steam as 'ultimate', and you cant buy any DLC or 'season pass'... I dont want to 'rebuy' their game, because this was a deliberate dirty move on their Steam users.

LOL, this is absolute nonsense... I just did checkout on this and turns out that you can still buy 'season pass' or separate DLCs for Steam version on Humble store!

Right now 'season pass' is available for regular 14.99, but 2 separate DLCs are each with 60% off aka 3.99 (selling for next 6 hours)... so I got lucky in the end, having now complete game for 7.98!  

I'll install right now to see does this works and what kind of 'version' is this
