VERY large pixel version of Cyberpunk, called Cloudpunk 😁

Spoiler

... I need something relaxing, and also playing it in 1st person view is really cool

Is Cloudpunk any good? Hasn't crossed my mind since i saw gameplay last year.

Like, i can get used to the whole going back and forth thing. One of the reasons why i actually enjoyed Death Stranding lol.

Always have a look at Cloudpunk during the sames but never pull the trigger, just seems like a game I want more for the visuals than the gameplay.

Think I'm more interested in their follow up game to it, Nivalis.

Dont know what to say, it is ok for me - it is very 'blade runnery' (and not 'cyberpunky' 😄), flying around, collecting stuff, great music, lots of talk, good world & characters, should be like 10-12h long (and there is a large DLC also if I want more)... 🙂

You can play it in 3rd person, in 1st person and as a 'side-scroller' - I'm playing only in 1st person (big selling point for me), and flying car is really good with controller

I was interested for it before, it looked to me different with its combination of art-style and theme, and finally I got it few days ago in great 'bundle deal' on Humble (Heroines bundle, 2nd tier)- 10€ for Gears 5, Cloudpunk, Celeste and Tacoma, and I wanted all of them on have & play Steam (so it was no brainer for me)  🤷‍♂️

Gave Guardians of the Galaxy a shot while it's free with game pass. I was enjoying it quite a bit. Gameplay-wise it sort of reminded me of Control without the telekinesis. I did a lot of "hovering" and "dashing" while shooting. It also felt a bit like a Telltale game with long stretches where its mostly just following a linear path, soaking up the story, and making occasional dialogue decisions.

But, my save got corrupted a few hours in and all my progress was lost. Like I said, I was enjoying it quite a bit but I'm not sure I was enjoying it enough to replay those few hours again so soon. Especially when I have no idea what caused the save issue and no real reason to believe it won't just happen again at some point.

If it's still on gamepass in a couple months maybe I'll give it another go.

Getting back into Far Cry Primal after several years since release. Best cave man game ever created by nomad kind.
and red dead redemption 2 best  western game ever created by mankind.

and No Mans sky best space game ever created by mankind or alien kind.

I finished III and VC Definitive and now I moved on to SA. I remember Vigilante being difficult in the OG game but DE brings it to a new level with more cop spawns and random gang members that will shoot at you with 100% accuracy (they've f*cked up the enemy accuracy in these versions). Somehow I managed to do this mission after grinding it for 3+ hours lol.

Got me a new PC, and as I did like lots of Watch Dogs (but not everything), so I (re)started Watch Dogs 2 because it works nice now 🙂

... uuurgh my gods, cringe is so damn strong from a get go 😞 -  I definitely need to spend some time going around town, looking & discovering 'things' before I get on story stuff, but I'll finish this in the end 😄

This week I've been playing Ori: Blind Forrest. Great game, and a bit challenging at times in the nicest possible way.

Also played some Fallout 4 again. Will get around to the DLC's eventually!

Picked back up on my RDR2 play-through at chapter 4.

Also Elden Ring, having a whale of a time at Volcano Manor... & GOTG which i've not spent a great deal of time on just yet, but i will.

Haven't stopped playing Horizon Forbidden West since it came out a month ago. I've been doing side missions and rebel camps to clean the map up a little bit while doing the occasional main story mission. I've recently unlocked San Francisco and it kind of feels like I'm reaching the end of the game but at the same time, it doesn't feel like I've done that much main story missions though.

Getting stuck back into rdr2. Best! Right now. Downloaded the companion app in my phone to track my progress. Love this game!

Had an urge to play this again recently, to maybe finish my PC playthrough I started a few months ago, but I loaded it up on PC and spawned in my town I was building at 30fps, wandered about a bit and then the game crashed, so I took that as a sign lmao. Think that save has something like 150+ mods installed so it might be a bit unstable now.

In a real drought for games atm though and been dying for a big beefy third person RPG to play but I think it's perhaps a bit soon for a new FO4 and/or Skyrim playthrough. Sorta been interested in picking up my TW3 save up as well but I sooooorta wanna wait for the big next-gen patch for that.

Really wanna pick up Tiny Tina's Wonderlands as it looks like a blast but I really don't want like using the Epic Games Store.

Fallout DLC I recommend: Preston, unlimited Settler helper

if that doesn't, please you then: Far Harbor

I was really enjoying the Nuka World DLC in my save last year but I ran into what appeared to be uncommon crashing issues (on PC) that basically rendered that DLC unplayable for me. It's a cool, light hearted place with some fun places to clear out though.

Far Harbor is not one I went too far into but it definitely felt more like a proper go at a some serious RPG story telling.

With you on that. I have my first and only save of The Witcher 3 and I know I'm nearish the end. However, I haven't played it in yonks.. will have to relearn all the controls and things. I think I just wrapped up the quests in Skelige. I have the DLC which I heard great things about. But I'm holding out for the update too. I don't want to play a 1080p game on a 4K screen. Also, the update should take the mild sting out of going back to a 7 year old game, graphics-wise..

I started Far Harbor and immediately I was hooked by the eeriness of the island, and the premise of the story. I'll be playing that for the next while.

My Game Pass Ultimate runs out in 11 days. Going to let it run out for a while and just clear the backlog of games I own, namely Cyberpunk and Fallout.

All this FO4 talk!  Don't make me add to my (measured in months) time in FO Boston.  Been so tempted.  I just might.  The one issue I have when I return to FO4(or earlier) has to do with me being too influenced by FO76.  It is hard for me to play any single player FO game now and not want to grab every piece of junk I see.  I'm just a trained 76 junker now I guess.

Nuka World is great.  IMO there are not enough games that use old amusement parks.

I've been playing a lot of 'new' GTAV/O.  The smooth frames is making it enjoyable.

Trying to finish up GotG too

Also replaying the old TellTale BTTF game...which I've been interweaving with the movies.   It's my bedtime activity - play some of the game and then fall asleep while watching the movie(s) from where I left off the night before.

I'm in the same boat in terms of gaming drought, i've been bouncing around games like a fly around sh*te, but then again it's that time of year i guess.

I feel like i'm closing in on finishing up on Elden's story and highly doubt i'll do a N+.

At the moment i'm waiting for this, it's pretty much what BF2042 should of been and it's the most fun i've had in an FPS for a long while. Has all the game modes, tanks, heli's which will come later on down the line. And also destruction. If you can get over the fact that it's a low poly game. The next play test is 8th April - 10th.

As for RPG's i'm waiting for that next gen release of W3, if that even comes out this year... Also, been eying up Disco Elysium. Heard that got a patch that offers ultrawide support.

I caved. It was £36 on CDkeys so I sinned and bought a game and am using the Epic Games Store. *shudder*

Games a ton of fun so far though, story wise it's Tiny Tina so you get what you'd expect there but the gameplay continues to improve with every BL game. The spells, melee and gunplay all feel really good - melee is the weakest, but I'm playing a caster class so that won't help. Borderlands really is just the best looter shooter for me, it does the RPG parts the best, the loot, the variety, the exploration. Great little game so far.

I'll probably give that a bash at a later point, i know a few mates want to try it. Love the idea of the spells and what not.

Certainly don't want to use EGL to play it either lmao. I Even got the FC6 trial on Ubi Connect.

CDKeys at £36 quid or so I figured Epic aint getting much of a cut.

Very enjoyable so far though. I'm hoping they stick with the custom character approach for future games too, they've handled that well here. The char creator is a solid enough first attempt for them and they actually have made them voiced albeit your character isn't the most chatty. Also this games equivalent of class mods actually alter your clothing which is nice too.

Gameplay wise it just feels like the absolute peak of the series thus far for me.

About FO4.... I didn't really care for either Far Harbor or Nuka World all that much. But I loved the main game. Survival mode was what made it for me. I had started a run and by level 35 or so I felt overpowered and was losing enthusiasm to a degree. So I started over in Survival and it completely transformed the experience and I played through to the end.  Didn't play it until last year, and I rate it my best gaming experience of 2021.

Fallout 3 GOTY edition. Is my first go at the Fallout series :)

When levelling up is it better to spread skill points evenly or focus on a couple of particular skills? I spread them evenly but now I think I should have focused more on the Small Gun skill. I'm still just out of Vault 101 so there's time to redo it by going to an older save, thinking of re doing it

Still picking up PGA2K21 once a week. Man that game is so f*cking fun. Course creator is very robust and so there's just endless unique, fun, and gorgeous custom courses to play on. I still kinda suck at it since I can't always hit the damn ball straight, but having just a single round without bogeys is very satisfying once you get in the zone, consistently hit greens in regulation and sink some crucial putts.

Nier: Automata isn't a game that'd normally grab my attention, but I'd heard all the praise for it so decided to give it a go since it went on sale recently. I'm really impressed and digging it. Everything right down to the menus feels expertly crafted and designed. Even basic UI settings are made part of the gamplay mechanics which is a neat touch. Music is fantastic too and lends a lot to the atmosphere. I always appreciate games where sometimes you just want to stop and take in the sights and sounds which are so pleasant.
