Claude GTA3
As most of you know,I'm a big fan of GTA series (perhaps not Vice City),and GTA3 is my all-time favorite. Many people don't like this game because of the bad graphics, common flaws,no bikes,no tire popping...Are people that superficial? Everyone is only about San Andreas nowadays. They are always like: ''San Andreas this,San Andreas that'',and same with Vice City.Does anyone talk about GTA3? Sure,on this forum, but as you see it has less pages then IV,that didn't even come out...What can we expect? PEOPLE ARE TOO SUPERFICIAL THESE DAYS! All you San Andreas and Vice City noobs better respect this game, because it started the franchize as we know it today.Don't you see the sentimental value of this game? That was all I had to say,and I've got one more question: Do people even care anymore?
GTABlaze
I Sometimes play GTA3, And when i do, I Enjoy it. Although i prefer VC.
Lioshenka
GTA 3 rocksa, GTA VC sucks. GTA SA is god, cos it has some countryside and the total size is huge, as well as climbing and rotating the camera features. I enjoy both GTA 3 and SA, but you can not wonder aroud in GTA 3 because it small i really miss the large countryside.
jnzooger
As I have said a few times before, the synergy of Vice City is too great to ignore. I have never liked GTAIII's style of story, nor does San Andreas' story appeal much to me. However, San Andreas is very close to my heart because of were it takes place. I know many people that lived the San Andreas life. Vice City though, I can not ignore. The story is awesome and the atmosphere is perfect. Demarest
Of course people care. If you're such a GTAIII puist, then why is your username Claude? GTAIII purists know him as Fido Years ago, I set out to make a walkthrough for GTAIII. At the time, I was cautioned it was too old to be useful. Yet I've received many PM's thanking me personally for that, and various tools I've made since, along with the mods. GTAIII interest is about as alive and well as this much passing of time and newer installments in the series will allow. Also, I don't know what you mean by poor graphics. I think GTAIII's dark, murky feel is one of the reasons it's the best.
stef_92
I like GTA3 most of all too! Some people don't like it because Liberty City is too dark (but I like it) ! One of my friend have played only SA !!! And he even can think to play the others (i think that he is not interested in GTA too much)! One of my cousins like VC most of all, because he like the town and Tommy (he hate my signature ). Most of the people don't like GTA3 cuz of the graphic (as Claude GTA3 said). Claude GTA3
Demarest,in bad graphics,I meant peds and npc's,they're made of parts, they're not an individual model like on Xbox PS:I like the grim feeling too,too bad the LC mod can't replicate it right
Bartleby
I've been a fan of the Grand Theft Auto games since the first 3-dimensional game (that is, this one). I haven't come across any city I've liked more than Liberty City yet. I've played GTA3 for upwards of five years, and I still hop in my Yakuza Stinger and get myself into car chases every now and then. It's a classic game, mate, don't let some of the SA kids fool you. At the risk of sounding like some metaphorical overprotective parent, they're just missing out.

(accept being mega rich, and to have a ultra-hot blonde with a nice rack as a wife) To make rockstar remake GTA3 with RAGE! they ARE doing it right now, mate )) GTA 3 is great, it is only missing the large landmass, and some features, but you can get used to it. I start to play VC and switch it off 10 minuts later - i just can not get used to non-rotating camera, no ability to climb, no swimming, no trains... Arvis
Currently gta 3 is the best part of GTA, maybe others think different, but i dont care it, GTA III looks reallistic too, gta VC and SA are to bright.

molloni
You betcha! GTA:3, while not the start of the franchise, was definately the start of the revolution! That's why it ranks up there with me. If I didn't care, I wouldn't still be checking out the forums here. And with the anticipation of IV, more new comers are trying 3 just because it's out there - that means there will be those checking here looking for help; another good reason to keep an eye on the forms (although I haven't seen any posts about the Mibatsu Monstrosity or the observatory...oh well). I still play 3. It's the only map I know really well. VC and SanAn got progressivly bigger in more than one way (see my other posts). But 3, while maybe the baby, set it all off. It's a great game. Besides, they left out the remote control car explosion sub-games in and beyond VC, and I always liked them.
TheScorpion
Well I certainly care about it, I think we would be all lost without it. However, the grim feeling makes me feel wierd when I play it. I don't like the way it's all dark and murky and that's why I love VC and SA soooo much. They we're so much more colourful and bright and made you feel happier in a way. Although saying this, the radio on GTAIII is totally fantastic. I love it! I love every radio that have been on GTAIII onwards, I just hope they don't mess up the GTAIV radio with some crappy music that no one would ever dream of listening to. But yeah, I think I might go and even play GTAIII right now. I have never completed that one, and it's purely down to it made me feel angry the way it was utter darkness. I'm no good at the missions on III anyway, they just seem harder than the other two GTA's. -TheScorpion
Zom-B
:If you're such a GTAIII puist, then why is your username Claude? GTAIII purists know him as Fido That makes no sense. brucewayne909
The GTA 3 atmosphere is depressing. Compared to the weather and overall 80s tropical Miami feeling in VC it doesn't stand a chance. I like VC and SA equally for different reasons. GTA 3 would have to rank 2nd/3rd after those because, while it's an amazing game, the others are just better. However, I fully respect GTA 3 and make regular visits to this forum unlike many gamers who have since excluded GTA 3 from the Grand Theft Auto world. Quoting the searching of files three years later doesn't reflect what he was known as for three years. Saying Fido does. Therefore, a purist would call him by his traditional name, which is Fido. El Jarretto
GTA: 3 is my favorite of all time. I don't play SA much but I still play 3, it's been my favorite ever since I got over the fact the newest GTA doesn't have to be the best.

brucewayne909
Well Vice City had that tropical 80s Miami atmosphere and was awesome. IMO, it was better than GTA 3 and a lot of people like it because of the feeling they get when they play. In LC, it would rain often, but in VC, even when it does rain, it's still sunny. All I'm trying to say is that, personally, I think the VC atmosphere was better than GTA 3. I guess depressing wasn't the right word to use; dark is better. I just favor the sun in VC over the darkness in GTA 3.
Long Haired Freaky Guy
Out of the 3 main games, GTAIII is my 2nd favourite game, but only just behind SA. The 'dark' and 'moody' atmosphere of the city really made the game, as it really felt as if you were a low time gangster in a crime-filled city. The pedestrians still make me laugh with what they say, and Chatterbox is still one of the greatest radio stations on all of the GTA games. The only problem with the game? It had to end...Seriously, I loved this game so much and found no problems with it in anyway possible. The only other problem was that every copy of the game I had crashed when I got onto the 3rd island, and so I never actually completed the game. Tommy, on VC, just runs so stupid it's annoying. Cursed
GTA III is my favourite in the series too, it has the best main charater, the best story line (No homie stuff just mafiaish), the best city, I love it being dark, Liberty City is my favourite . So some people dont care, but quite a few of us still love it
dogder
I care..!!. In fact I went out and bought the last ps two version on the shelves in my home town, just this week. Had to scour every shop in the town that sold dvd games...lol. After playing SA and VC I just had to own/try a copy of GTA 111...And I love it..the Atmosphere created for the city is Awsome...very realistic. IMO anyways. I plan on playing All the GTA series games including IV for many years to come...
Adam Jensen
I love every GTA, and i still play every GTA. But realy, my favourite is San Andreas. Not because of the features as much as because of `90 gangsta style westcoast theme. I love that period. I remember all those movies and music videos about westside life, gangstas, weed. I`m a big fan of Samuel L. Jackson and he`s Tenpenny. I`m also a BIG fan of rap music like 2pac, Dr.Dre, Snoop Dogg, DOC, Ice Cube, Ice T etc. So San Andreas is like a dream come true. And i also love country side and desert. It`s basicly a mix of all stuff i love in my life. Like that game was made JUST for ME!!! Seriously. I love everything about San Andreas. I have it on both PS2 and PC. And moders seem to make mods JUST for ME. Cause everything i wanted that wasn`t there, someone made here (GRIM`s weapon packs are my favourites)
