Less people and traffic at night but there will be traffic in areas such as expressways and time square 3. subways are less crowded and more dangerous 4. More crime 5. Skyline lights up and so do the bridges 6. Stores are closed but certain restaraunts are open 7. A.I. store robberies 8. More Drug Dealers 9. Different A.I. People (confirmed) 11. Night Clubs are filled with teenagers (if possibly in the game) between 18 - 21... 12. Central Park is more dangerous 13. Niko witnessing random murders Algonquin will probably be the safest borough and will possibly have more A.I. pedestrians walking around than any other borough. My ideas are just speculations (I'm NYFAN23, just a different username) @rasomaso What i meant was that rockstar confirmed that there would be less people at night and more people during the day. The most amazing part about it is that you can see cars moving across the river. That proves one of my speculations. I wish rockstar didn't block out the full skyline so we can really see how amazing it is. Manhattan isn't as dangerous as say deep Brooklyn or parts of the Bronx. But the northern part of Manhattan above 110th street is Harlem, which is not somewhere I wouldn't want to be after dark. But then again sh!t can happen anywhere, just last week one of my friends got mugged in plain daylight, at 2 in the afternoon walking through central part from east to west side. Hit him in ribs with bat, took his stuff, hit him again with bat and kicked him in the back of the head. Downtown Brooklyn is LOADED at night and so is Bay Ridge and Sheepshead Bay (Emmons Avenue) but unfortunately from the screenshots, i don't think rockstar is putting those neighborhoods in the game I hope that the areas of Algonquin are crowded and maybe even areas of Broker....i will be so happy if they include a downtown broker in there Also your right. We're not sure if the subway map covers the entire game map, but it has been seen by our Rockstar source in both Algonquin and Broker at the least. That's good news incase we want to take the subway at night, but are we able to inside the train?? It's dark now and the freeways are lined with foliage, unlike the inner city we'd just come from, and we can also see the Dukes Bay Bridge lit up which looks fantastic. I don't know if the Dukes Bay Bridge is based off of the Queensboro Bridge, The Rockaway Island Bridges, or the Throgs Neck Bridge but i like that they say its fantastic the way the bridge lights up. Hopefully a step up from the lit Broker Bridge in Trailer 3. it's no longer one real minute equals one game hour, it's now two minutes equals one hour, so days are now longer; you can't really see the sun moving like in San Andreas, and there is now more significance to daytime and nighttime activities. Yes!!! Longer days now, and longer nightime, also they say there is a significant difference between night and daytime. we can take in some awesome nighttime views of the city as we go down the large freeways. Rockstar also changed the weather for this bit using its debug keyboard to be a clear night, allowing us to check out the awesome draw distance that shows off Algonquin's skyline, bridges, smoke billowing out of chimneys, and lots of varied scenery. It's a classic New York picture. I hope the freeways have traffic even at night to capture the feel of NYC, and i like how they describe the whole city lit up. mailman07 Posted January 24, 2008 Share Posted January 24, 2008 at night in lc i would like to see 1. rival gangs fighting ,drunks fighting etc, 2. prostitues standing around and beng picked up etc 3. a bigger police presence. 4. people quing up for bars and clubs. 5. seeing the police arrets other criminals 6. random muggings and attcks. 7. people maybe doing graffiti as its based on nyc and nyc has a huge graffiti problem. 8. to see emergency services busier. 9. drug dealers and people trying to pick up. just a few ideas that would be kool peace.. The bridges are lit up, the skyscrapers are lit up, the traffic is flowing, the Empire State Building is a different color!!! I'm getting extremely excited. You can see that Alderney is going to have its own business district with skyscrapers, as you can see in a distance. You can see the Apartment buildings of Broker. You can see the distant lights of Dukes. You can see the Statue of Happiness. Notice how there may be a normal amount of peds on the streets, but there's a lot of traffic!! I was a regular on gta5.com or something like that before SA came out, then i went on right after the game came out (like a week)and heard about Bigfoot and then started looking for it. i gave up after a few days but it was fun getting strapped w/ night vision/thermal vision and looking.
