There's always the 100% check list as well. The hidden packages, rampages and unique jumps do add a fair bit to your completion percentage (the exact percentage eludes me at this time), and it's easily possible to complete the story-line missions whilst yet having completed less than 50% of the total game. I believe it is possible to complete the story in as little as 20-22%-- I did it in 26 % before-- but had bought several safe houses and had collected about 30 hidden packages for some weapons... I was doing a storyline speed run... took me about 3:30 on the game clock-- I did reload when I died several times. There are lots of side missions and tasks in the game.
