What are your favorite songs by ICP, Dark Lotus, Twiztid, etc? I only know four of five people in real life who have ever even listened to ICP, so it's making me wonder. Just warning you (although you probably already know having already posted one of these topics) that you'll probably be flamed/insulted by a lot of people posting in this thread. I'm into their older stuff and some of their newer stuff, Twiztid are amazing rappers, and Dark Lotus is probably the best thing they've ever put out. Not into it as much as I used to, and generally got tired of being associated with the idiots that are with the scene and make asses out of all Juggalos by running around and hating on everybody who isn't a fan of ICP, although most of them are generally nice people and Juggalo concerts are some of the best/friendliest gigs you can go to. Remember This. Posted June 2, 2007 Share Posted June 2, 2007 Yeah, I remember the old topic. I used to be a big fan (or Juggalo), I love almost all of ICP's stuff. Twiztid kick ass too, they are amazing rappers. I haven't listened to 'em for a while now though. They were totally unlike anything I listened (or listen) too. I mainly listen to punk, hardcore and metal, but for some reason these guys just totally grabbed me. Favourite songs by ICP have to be 'Homiez' and 'Chicken Hunting'. Favourite Twiztid songs are probably 'Rock the Dead' and 'Do You Really Know?'. They did a good cover of 'Joker' too. I never really heard any Dark Lotus, although I did listen to some Kotton Mouth Kings, who were friends with ICP too. Weird... I was just thinking about getting back into these guy's. They had camera's at one of their meets and the people were saying things like: "We're are just a group of people who understand each other but others dont understand us" "People look down on us because of what we do and who we are, these meets bring us together" Blah blah blah, sounds like a group of Emo's to me. I've seen the live footage, so I knew about the face painting, and I had read and interview with some guys who went to a meet... but that, thats just weird. I would only face paint if I was going to a gig. I always try to make an effort when going to see a band live, even if its just wearing something decent. Me and my mates took some plastic swords when we went to see DragonForce. I don't think I'm quite that into ICP though! Edited June 3, 2007 by Remember This. Living in England I've never met a Juggalo, but still constantly hear bad things about them. Its the same with bands like Slipknot, who get a bad reputation because some 13 year old kids decide to buy an over sized hoody and listen to their music. Of course, they could always just suck, but I don't reckon thats the case with ICP. They are a great band, light-hearted, not taking themselves seriously, just having a laugh. And I don't think you're allowed to talk about anybody else's taste in music. @Ray: I know you say there are only a handful of those face-painting, hatchet toting morons that call themselves juggalos that give other icp fans a bad name, but maybe with the exception of one person, that's the only kind of icp fan I've ever seen/met. Granted, I encountered most of these pukes in an amusement park - which is a white trash magnet - so it's all about population density. With the shirts 18 sizes too big, and the hats with stickers still on them, and tags still on the clothes, but they all have the chain with that guy holding the hatchet or whatever.
