SA PLACES PERFECT FOR VERSUS FIGHTING

Recommended Posts

OG-LOC R360

I was playing SA tonight where I was fighting a person at the LV casino with the elevator, I don't know the name. I thought that was a good inspiration for a stage for Tekken because it has a lot of wall traps, lots of floors, and it is quite big.

NOTE: This is not 'where is the perfect place to fight?'

Where in SA is perfect (or good) for a fighting stage for a versus fighting game and why?

Ontop of the 757 airplne that spawns in the airplane hangar in LV. Ontop while flying..

I don't think you surf an aeroplane while it's flying without a jetpack, and even then, you still can't fight. I think the hanger as a good spot with the aeroplane, with the door closed.

I have a new one for a fight:

The carpark behing the Well Stacked Pizza, in Idlewood I think.

There's like no room back there I think.

On top of one of the pillars on the dam (I forget the name).

It's the Sherman Dam. I think they called it that because: (Sherm)an Dam. lol.gif

I got a new one: In the Come-A-Lot Hotel area. Inside of it around those towers and castles would be neat.

I mean the open air carpark, at the hotel. I didn't say it was multi-story.

OOO BETS ONE EVA!!!

Like in MK Armaggedon where in certain lvls there are death traps, in the Plane that you stowaway in in the mission "Stowaway" and there are like barrels and crap falling down, and you either knock your opponent out the back, kill them normally, they get knocked out or squashed with the barrels, or soemthing.

also if you accidentily hit a gas barrel or the front of the plane's controls the front will catch fire a bit and it will start to head down to the ground vertically, in that case the ramp in the back closes, which inverts the gravity so you fight off the ramp, if you KO or disorientate your opponent then you climb up abck to the controls and open the ramp and they fly out, then you get the parachute and live, lol.

The ruins of Smoke's crack factory.

ahah.

i never thought of that.

good idea.

No the lava's too hot, the water's just fine.

what in the sam hill does that mean?

Oh, I was ment to quote the one about the island out of SF, and how he wanted lava around it, instead of water.

ON-TOPIC: The roof top on LS Airport, incluing the helipad.

Yeah, but where's the danger? Unless you put sharks or something circling around you.

Now that depends... for non-gimicky death-trap fights here are my top 5:

5. In Front of Caligula's Casino

-It very symmetrical and provides and equal balance to both fighters. It is extremely spacious as well but has a few obstacles for strategy.

4. Foyer of Caligula's (The circle lobby before the gambling area.)

- Also symetrical and simplistic, leaving only true abilities as your only weapon.

3. Castilla del Diablo (Where you fight those helicopters.)

- It has a dramatic, tense aura surounding it with the setting sun in the background. It does have a ring out death so it may not count. But either way, it provides ample room as well as a few dismal shacks for strategy.

2. Pier 69

- Much jummping and multi-tiered enviroment.

1. Grove Street

- Just cause.

Now for the gimmicky ones.

5. Andromeda

-As mentioned before, tossing your opponent off the tail end of the jet is fun.

4. Meat Factory

Use the hook to render your opponent defenseless or use the freezer to shut him down permemantly.

3. The Red Auto Shop in San Fierro

You can either knock your opponent down one level or three and fight in oncomming San Fierro traffic.

2. Bloodring Banger Stadium

Not only you have to watch for your opponent, but other insane driver as well.

AND NUMBER ONE GOES TO!

Gas Station

Nice and simple. Also if you want to warm things up just toss him/her to the pump and watch things go.

Honorable Mentions:

Caligula's Rooftop

Quarry

Gant Bridge

Market Station (Above and Under)

Just my ideas at what could make for a lively fight.

Now I have my Top 5 (Sorry David Letterman)

5. Bayside Marina

Huge and even ground, except for the helipad, but that's good.

4. Wang Cars

Huge two level fighting ground with a few cars.

3. Pink Swan

Four level casino with an escalator, could be full of wall traps

2. Grove St.

If you block up the streets and allyways, you get a huge circular fighting ground

1. Tallest building in LS

If you knock someone off the edge, see them plummet. Or maybe not.
