Mr Slick Posted May 31, 2007 Share Posted May 31, 2007 When i connect my camera via UBS ,a message comes up saying 'Cannot find driver for this device' or something to that effect. This is dispite me downloading drivers (via CD) many times now. Somestimes after the download, a window will pop up that WILL allow me to transport files, but once i restart my PC, it's back to the same story. Any ideas? matthew1g Posted May 31, 2007 Share Posted May 31, 2007 If it's not an old digicam, I think the drivers were written for XP, although most of the time they are compatable with 98/2000, I think that could be one of the main reasons. If no one can help you, my advice would be to get a cheap card reader like This if you use SD cards or MMC cards in your camera, or something like This if you use multiple card types, have a free 3.5" bay and a free usb 2 header.
