Music To Drive To

SHXC

Recommended Posts

I wasn't sure if this should go in Vehicle Chat or Music Chat, but it's about music, so here.

What do you like to listen to while driving?

Obviously there's going to be different tastes in music, but dont cause arguments, just post your favourites.

GO.

Something I really enjoy driving to is Tom Petty music. "Runnin' Down a Dream" is an ultimate driving song. I think overall for me, classic rock is the best genre to drive to. Yeah, harder stuff and reggae is also good, but I think classic rock has the best feel for driving.

Nice sig, OG works too.

Slower, heavy stuff like Cult of Luna, Cathedral, Sahg, Neurosis, etc are good. Slough Feg is good to drive to too.

No, not really. I'd go with some Phil Collins stuff... One More Night, In The Air, Easy Lover, Against All Odds (good to cruise with your girl with)

Some Peter Gabriel... Secret World is an awesome song to drive into the night to.

To cruise groove into the night... you gotta catch Kool & The Gang's Ladies Night.

and if you're in a very sunny day, choose some old school R&B... Cameo's Candy, Kool & The Gang's Summer Madness... Hollywood Swingin... Hall & Oates...

Remember This.

Clutch rule!

Anyway, I can't drive yet, but whenever I'm being driven somewhere in the parent taxi it has to be The Misfits. Songs like 'Horror Business' and 'Teenagers From Mars' just rule.

Cool song...definitely gonna look into more by these guys.

I would say classic rock fits the mood for any driving situation.

I like to get on the highway, turn up the radio as high as possible, pop in a Merzbow record, take my foot off the gas, and just close my eyes.

Driving music just kind of depends on your mood. I like to listen to slipknot and stuff on long trips, rap/hip hop or Techno in town, so people notice subs tounge.gif.

My music choices depend on a lot of things lol.
