The Tunnel Between Islands

The tunnel that you use to go underground from Shoreside Vale and Staunton Island, after the game is complete, there is a big blue wall on the road to Staunton Island, but you can use it between the two points on Shoreside Vale.

But, if you go to that 'under construction' thingy in blue walls, get on the Staunton Island Hospital roof, and drive slowly onto the right side of the north-east corner with a PCJ-600, you will fall through the floor and into the tunnel, which is infact the other side of the blue wall. If you go through the thin part, and keep driving and fall off the edge, press up until you fall off the bike, and you will land outside the back of the hospital on Staunton Island.

I'm saying I got into the area that is blocked off! -.-

If you get ontop of the hospital roof on Staunton Island and drive a PCJ 600 slowly into the corner you'll go through it and land in the tunnel. One side is the blue wall yeah, and the other side there is no end and you fall into the sky.

Well in that case, all you need to do is use Orion's (sp?) trick for getting to the other islands early. Once on top of the subway, instead of following the train around to get to the station, just go northwest. Eventually, the subway roof will not be solid and you'll fall into blue hell and land inside that tunnel. This can be done from the start of the game.

Hi On the psp the glitch is there but on the ps2 i have noticed that the glitch does not work and that it is much harder to get through the wall. So i just did this. Instead of going slowly through the wall and falling into Blue hell, I drove a fast car really fast towards that wall and just before i hit the wall i bounced over the wall using the perfect traction cheat. The cealing just avove the wall is unsolid so you can bounce over much easier.

Also when you begin the mission where you enter the old subway. Most parts of the subway only show during the mission because the .txd files and col files which build the walls props and floor load in the mission script. The Tunnel does not get completed in the game, but is completed by 2001 when GTA3 takes place.

cheers
