Bought Logitech Rumblepad 2

Recommended Posts

So i bought me the Logitech Rumblepad 2 and when i went to set it up I looked up the commands for GTA3 and noticed that there are a ton of settings for in-car and on-foot so the buttons are all different depending on the setting....

If anyone has the configuration file for GTA3 for logitech devices that would be cool as hell as it would take the guess work out of this for me. Oh yeah of course, if they match PS2 button assignment settings that would be the best thing also.

Thanks.

Why not go through and set it up the way you want it? If you want it set up like a PS2, then set it up like one. This is not a Troubleshooting question and really isn't even a GTA question. Of course, since you're on PC, you'd be doing yourself a big favor by just setting it down and using your keyboard and mouse.

I turned my GTA3 style into a hybrid of PS2 and the PC version - I use the 'standard' controls, but use the controller for everything that doesn't require shooting (the mouse is for that). You can also use the right analog stick in a way to control Claude, although the mouse is still easier. Rarely use the keyboard for much, apart from hitting Esc and using a few cheats when I feel like it.

You'd be surprised how the left analog movement works with the mouse - you can actually move without running! Shame it's only 8-way on the PC though - the PS2 version had a much finer degree of movement, in arcade terms, a 47-way joystick.

I actually figured out the layout for san andreas and posted it a while back. http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtop...dpost&p=4220103 Just ignore the settings for the d-pad, and move the radio to L1.

Note: This is for the dual-action, but it should work no problem on the rumblepad 2.
