Another Sound issue cant find solution!

Unlike many people with there sound problems I have a little different one.

Everything works but the cutscenes and the radio works. (no radio no cutscenes)

I am running on Vista 32bit, Athalon 4600 2xcore new with Realtek sound card with Logitech 5.1 sorround sound,

Heres a list of what ive done,

 

-I checked the dxdiag and went to sound but nothing (no dial or knob to turn it down)

-Ive updated my drivers

-changed the sound manager from 5.1 to quadro

-fooled with options

 

Anyway I am running the 2vs of the game and I was thinking I might need to downgrade?

 

Any help would be great!

P.S. I BOUGHT THE GAME!! NO DOWNLOAD!

Nothing about the game files except the SET has anything to do with the sound card and the SET isn't altered by a reinstall. It's probably best NOT to encourage people to do things they don't need to, especially ones that are time consuming and/or an invonenience due to lack of necessity.

 

@goldeneye: If you've changed drivers since installing, it's not a bad idea to nuke your SET file afterwards to give yourself a chance.
