Jive Drive - Help (PSP)

I'm having a real hard time trying to complete the Jive Drive mission on GTA:VCS. I've been at this for what seems like weeks. I have a go at it, lose my head trying to do it and put the game away, before I throw my PSP through the window. I love the game but this mission is really getting me down. I don't really want to use any cheats to finish it, but it's looking like I may have to

 

Can anyone give me any advise at all? I can do the car bit, but as soon as the car explodes and I'm killing goons with Lance, I get killed.

 

Does anyone know of a website that might have game saves you can download to get me past this point? I just need a save game that has been saved just after Jive Drive, if anyone knows of one somewhere. It would have to be a European game save.

 

Or maybe someone can tell me a fail safe way of completing this mission?

yea sure get some armour before the mission if you have a look there should be a dumpster(mine is the ps2 version it might be on psp) hide behind that, kill some goons then find a car.

, the link i gave you is a video of this mission on PS2. And dont let the missions get you down wait for a feel days calm down and try it again. Bit I gotta warn you there a some missions a lot harder as you progress in the game.

I'm stuck on this mission right now. I usually finish GTA missions first try, but we all know there are some like this one.

 

I keep dying as Lance jumps the car a second time. (he jumps the dirt pile, and then later he jumps the wooden ramp)

 

From reading on the forums, I have come to find that this must be the end of the driving part, which pisses me off royally. While I am quite happy to be challenged, or was, at this point I'm seeing that maybe there was like... one too many cars, namely those last two before the jump on the ramp. I explode on the ramp every time. Every time I try this mission, I pass out right up there on that second jump. lol.

 

My guess is that I am shooting the men, and not their cars, while I am given ample time to hit the cars, I wait "preserving" my clip until I get close enough to pick them off... But I guess I'll have a go at blasting the cars, I'll let you know (future readers out there) how it panned out.

 

EDIT: made it past the ramp, that was rough, YES go for the cars! especially their tires! when they are pre-parked cars, go for the men standing, but chase cars, go for the tires/explode them.

 

lol this is crazy.

 

 

Edit: ahhh hahahah now I just died at the same place you got stuck (didnt start with armor ) lol. Thanks for those hints up there everyone.

Just wait till you have to do Light My Pyre. You'll be cursing Lance's name after that one. Stupid suicidal bastard making life hard for everyone.
