jpxtreme Posted May 27, 2007 Share Posted May 27, 2007 GTA Vice City supports 3dsound hardware but on my other pc it says, "not available" so software emulation is selected by default. I want 3dsound hardware to be selected because i notice when in software emulation sometimes the sound effects,cop's voice,sfx become choppy and it stutters. It's very annoying, what i don't understand why in my main pc works just fine but not in my other pc. How to make it available? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I've been playing the game for years and never touched this option. The sound drivers is a good start. Since this is the Troubleshooting forum and hardware specs are part of the posting REQUIREMENTS, maybe sharing WHAT sound card that PC has would be useful?
