All Clothing Stores in the Beginning in PS2

I remember there was a topic that tells about how to get all clothing stores opened from the beginning. I can't find it, and I even used the search feature, but still...

It's using the cheat code "Spawn a Jetpack" during the cutscene at the beginning of the game while CJ is being driven around the block by the cops. This would result in your getting wasted once the cut scene ends, and all stores (not only the clothes shop) will be opened when you get back on the game.

Ah, but the point was that if you say "the cheat code 'Spawn a Jetpack,'" and Loco did, you are giving advice that is not platform specific. To take that and translate it into advice that only works for one platform is repeating what was already given, but in a form that's useful to less than 1/3 of the people already advised wink.gif

Not sure if it works as well with the other platforms or versions of SA, but this is for PS2 v1.0.

A check on my old notes on this reveals that what I think is a complete list of the places (inclusive of what were mentioned already by others) that you can already enter and USE (that are otherwise still closed at the start of the game or are mission-specifically accessible only)by using this trick includes:

1. Johnson's House (you can already save here even without doing yet the Big Smoke mission)

2. Crack Den (Idlewood)

3. Madd Dogg’s mansion

4. All clothing stores

5. All food stores

6. All Ammu-Nation branches

7. All gyms

8. All barbershops

9. All tattoo parlors

10. All branches of Mod shops ( Loco Low, Transfenders and Wheel Arc Angels)

11. Jizzy's Pleasure Dome (both building door and rooftop)

12. Zero's shop (no Beefy Baron side game though)

13. City Planning Department (a second floor room that appears to be a big computer room is enterable also whereas this is otherwise closed in the mission Architectural Espionage.)

14. Sindacco Abattoir

15. Verdant Meadows hangar ( you can save vehicles already)

I forgot to specifically mention too that for this trick to work, one must finish the entire cut scene after entering the jetpack code, until CJ was supposedly thrown out of the car at the end. This will be followed by the "WASTED" message and with a top view shot of the ground showing what appears to be an "invisible" jetpack. After you respawn at the Jefferson hospital, all the places are already opened. If you press X (PS2) early, the trick won't work.

Are mod shops really open? I couldn't use Transfender here (PC version).

PS2 v1.0, yes. Must be another difference on the PC?

No it isn't any different on PC.

@Saget: Make sure your car is meant to be modded in Transfender. Have a look around for a list of what mod shops you must go to, to mod a certain car. Example: Elegy must be modded in WAA (Wheel Arch Angels) Bobcat must be moddded in TF (Transfender) Savanna must be modded in LLC (Loco Low Co.) Make sure you also done it right.

P.S. sorry for the bump even though the topic isnt that old.
