ScoutFu
The 'mouse look' works fine until i exit a vehicle, then to get it back i have to go into the options again. I've been away for 2 years and am absolutely dying to play it, but this makes it very annoying Cheers
GTAGangsta58
I reccommend getting a joypad, but if u don't want one i don't really no how to explain what is wrong with yours.......sry
CCPD
There is no need to get a joypad as keyboard and mouse are the ultimate controls for many games including GTA! As for the mouse problem does it only happen in game? Did you upgrade your mouse drivers?
ScoutFu
I have a joypad which use for driving, but i like to use the mouse to run around. But i've discovered another problem now that there isn't a crosshair like there used to be so i can't use the mouse to aim anyway Yes it disables itself in game, it works sometimes but then all of a sudden i'll get out of a car and it no longer works
Girish
I have the same problem too. But it doesn't happen quite often; only sometimes. I don't think there is any other solution than pressing ESC and then resuming the game again.
Demarest
Also try alt+tabbing out and then back in. Can't imagine why this would happen. Since keyboard and mouse is superior anyways, why not try unplugging the controller and seeing if it doesn't stop then? If your controller has software that runs to interpret it, kill that too. It may be the culprit. You might have to get used to mouse steering, but once you do, you'll have greater control and won't have to juggle multiple input devices. The blacking out of the screen is a side-effect of the same problem. It wouldn't matter if the frequency of the blacking out is less.
