No, the rumor is that cheating will make HP's disappear or inhibit you from reaching 100%. That's not what I said. I only mentioned criminal rating and there are cheats that do this. No rumor. It will just have serious Conciquences later on in the game, I reached 700 cheats in san andreas (SPOILERS!!!!!! for got the code) And in FreeFall, he automaticly fell, and Mission Failed, I had to get a save file from the list on GTAF so, If you want to use cheats, No one is stopping you. here is a list of conciquensis: Jet Pack: Some Sign's of sound error's, when aiming. 700 Cheat Milestone: In the mission "FreeFall" he will automaticly fall and mission failed. Never Wanted Cheat: after entering over 400 times game automaticly deletes the save, you can re save and it will save. Any Weapon Cheat: after put 600 times many weapons at Amu Nation become unavalible, and over priced. Sex Apeal Cheat: After 600 entries, the sex apeal numbers down to zeroand can not be boosted up Muscle Cheat: after using the Muscle cheat 50 times, the game frequently locks up. They look kind of false - it doesn't seem like Rockstar's style at all to go out of their way to have cheats ruin a gamer's save file. As far as I'm aware, the only major negative consequence of using cheats in SA is with respect to Peds Riot and a certain mission with Mad Dog... Such cheats (i.e. that cannot be toggled) are the only ones you'd ever really need to look out for, I expect; although it is always a nice idea to have a save cheat-free since Rockstar implore you every time to consider not saving after cheating. I understand that you know this game through and through, so explain me again how cheats affect gameplay. Does only crime rating go down? I thought, that there were more serious consequences. And a note to this guy who babbles about cheats: I have completed every mission without cheats multiple times, am I superhuman? I only use cheats when I know I'm not going to save. Demarest Posted June 2, 2007 Share Posted June 2, 2007 Like I said, it doesn't impact gameplay beyond face value one bit. Criminal rating only. Now there are a couple/few cheats that are irreversible. Peds riot is one such example that also impacts gameplay, but only on face value. The best example to date is GTAIII's the Exchange. Then when SA came out I played it and beat it without cheats and went back and did the same with the other 2. Now I look down on cheating. The game is a lot more fun without cheats.
