i have both a 360 and a ps3. i like them both the same, BUT to this day, i still absolutely HATE the 360s controller. SO awkward. it wouldnt be so bad if the analog sticks were better positioned. confused.gif

I actually prefer the keyboards and mouse over any controller. You really cant win over keyboard and mouse. When i first played with the xbox controller i thought it was huge and bulky and i didnt like it but once i got used to it i now think its really comfortable and fits in your hand perfectly., the same with xbox 360s controller. With the ps2 controller i hated that the sticks were right next to each other it made your hand feel sore but it still was an good controller because it was light. So all in all i think keyboard and mouse own any other controller out there.

Xbox 360 controller, it is much more comfortable for me, i find that the PS3 controller is too small.

Can anyone guess my vote? ph34r.gif

m8, for me, it's just... if you learn to ride a bike, then someone

hands you a skateboard, that bike is easier to ride.

Can you 360Fanbawgs stop making fun of PS3 because probably 80% of 360 fanbawgs jused to have a ps2 but because they are cheap bastards without patience(they cant even wait till ps3 comes out) they just buyed a Xsorbio 360

Theres a dif between being cheap and being broke. And whos sounding like a fanboy now?

and the triggers on the back are something the playstation sure did miss out on!

it feels like a gun trigger, LOVE THE 360 CONTROLLER

Sixaxis for the win, especially since I've played every other gta on it(even gta one and two).

Thank god they're bringing back the rumble.

It seems like those who prefer the PS3 controller for other reasons than being used to a PS controller are probably the same people who feel revolted by 2girls1cup, drink diet coke, eat light turkey meat only or are even vegetarians, and prefer green Tabasco over the regular one. I.e. have stupid excuses for their tastes, in this case "OOOHH my hands are so small".

Xbox 360 controller definitely. Rumble alone wins it for the 360 and the PS3's controller is too small and feels unnatural in your hands. And why would you choose which console you're getting by the controllers? They pretty much have the same controller and you'll get used to either one quickly. Choose a console by what games you want to play. For example, if you want to play games such as Gears of War, Saints Row, Crackdown, Rainbow Six Vegas, Mass Effect, Kane and Lynch, Bioshock, Forza, GRAW, Alan Wake, etc then get a 360. If you want to play Resistance, Motorstorm... um... get a PS3. If you want exclusive downloadable content for GTA 4, get a 360. If you want to get the best out of the multiplayer experience, get a 360. If you want a last-minute, shoddy motion-control feature, get a PS3.

Yet again, more siding and fanboyism. Get your facts straight. You can play GRAW, Kane and Lynch, Saints Row 2, and Rainbow Six Vegas on the PS3, and both PS3 and xBOX360 are getting exclusive downloadable content. Both different. Sure, 360 has quite a few more games out, but it also game out a year earlier than the PS3. The PS3 is one hell of a system all in all.

If you want to be safe, than I'd get a PS3 for GTA IV, not because the controller (I still like the PS controller, but pretty much cause I'm used to it.) but because it has a lot more power, and a way better harddrive than 360 therefore you'll less likely see twin peds everywhere, and the same car spawning more than once.

Well to be honest i don't think sixaxis will be a perk at all really.

I like my rumble so i voted 360.

I did not vote, because the answer is so friggin obvious already... PLAYSTATION!!!!

What they should do is enlarge the current shape for the new rumble version though

So, say someone accidentally prices some rotten oranges above the price of the fresh ones, do you buy the rotten ones not wanting to be a 'cheap bastard'?

PS3 costs more, doesn't make it better.

^ Oh, it's better... You get what you pay for in this case... How in the hell can you think otherwise? I've looked at both, they're not on equal footing. My rumble controller works on the PS3 just fine, thank you mam!

Triggers on the PS3 are garbage.

D-pad on the 360 is garbage.

I don't think GTA IV will need to much use from the D-pad, so I go 360 for better triggers.

I bought my Radio Shack USB to play PC games using a gamepad or PS2 controller, Now I use the same adapter on my PS3, it also works with a remote module that allows a standard Sony DVD remote to operate it... Has some mismatch and non functions but you're not stuck without the keyboard or Six Axis control.

I never could get the hang of keyboard and mouse use, but I had some luck with early Apple games where you set the keys you wanted to use but also worried about wearing those keys out from heavy action.

I think that the PS3 controller will be better. It feels better in my hands and the placement of the analog sticks are perfect. And also, I, as most other people, played the GTA III games on PS2 (and of course PC).

360 costs less, doesn't make it better.

^^ Yeah, the orange metaphor doesn't really work here, but you get the idea. Both consoles are the same and GTA IV is on both.
