Not forgetting the anolouge sticks on the 360 are more precise. Whats that mission called again in SA where you have to shoot the toy planes down on top of that roof with Zero? Play it on the ps3 then play it on the 360.

 

Ever played sa on the pc with a sixaxis? maybe you should try that mission

 

 

What difference will that make than just playing it on the ps3. I'm no pc gamer so enlighten me. End of the day facts is facts, it's been tried and tested by myself, and I am not in the habit of lying to myself, or to people on a message board where it will easily be debunked by those in the know. If anyone feels up to it, try and track down that article where even the lads at R* agree that the 360 controller is more their cup of tea because it's more precise. I ain't gonna f*cking do it because I have better things to do... like take a sh*t.

 

Sure we have to put up with the fanboys, well, actually you don't if you just ignore them, but thats a bit hard around here considering the majority are a bunch of child like idiots who don't even stop to think before spouting off complete and utter bullsh*t.

PS controllers have always been best for any GTA or GTA type game imo. Not that I don't like the Xbox control setups, I just think the PS ones are better.

If they use the triggers for gas controls on the 360 then the in car controls will be better on PS3. The triggers suck for controling the car. I hated them on Crackdown. But the on foot controls will be better on 360. I hate pressing a button to shoot a gun thats why the 360 with its triggers will be better for on foot controls.

lol what's the difference?? if u think really hard and you put a ps controller and an xbox controller side by side, they have the exact same number of buttons minus the X button for xbox but either than that they both have dual analog sticks, a d-pad, 4 buttons on the other side and 4 buttons on the top...but I would have to sat that the xbox controller would be better in terms of driving and shooting due to the fact that there are actual trigger buttons (yes, I know this comment is completely hypocritical of me) I used to have PS2 I played GTA:SA and Vice on it as well as numerous racing games...and now I have a 360 and played a bunch of shooters and racing games...and honestly I do feel like I have a better grip on the controller with that set up than with the ps set up....although the ps setup isn't bad either...just for me the 360 controller seems to have an advantage...

They relesed, duel shock 3 in japan, so i think, if they use the dual shock 3 ps3 is better if they use the other controller then i dont know, wonder when they will relese it here in australia

PS3 controller is a classic,it fits perfect in your hands and feels much better than the 360.I do own a 360 and sold my ps2 to get it but bought gta san an on the 360 and it dont feel right,the buttons feel as if there in the wrong positions.

 

If they sort it out it will be alright but the ps3 is still the best..

The sixaxis controller has these trigger buttons aswell(R2 and L2).

 

But your right they are pretty much the same. I prefer the PS controller just due to the fact I'm used to it. I never really liked the trigger placement on the Xbox, but thats just my opinion. To each their own.

Wait...i didnt know that the 360's buttons didnt have any pressure sensitivity. I guess I never noticed....Anyway, I will be playing with my Black Controller. I may buy an adapter too though cause I never could play GTA SA on XBox.

has anyone mention the dualshock 3? i couldn't be bothered to read all through the thread so i say dual shock 3 or sixaxis as gta originally came on playstation with gta 3 and it feels right as i've been playing all gta games on the playstation 2

I've always played GTA on the Analog PS controller (and eventually obviously Dualshock 2), and I'm not willing to change, however, since the Xbox360 does look like the better console choice (it has more and better games, not to mention the extra content for GTA4), I was in doubt for a long time.
